I ride my Raptor 700 just outside East Grand Forks, MN. I laughed because I don't change my oil very often either. The riding season for me seems to be about four months, and an hour or two on average every other weekend. So like 8-16 hours a year...Hence I change my oil once a year. I'm scared to ditch ride very fast for fear of a hidden divets/holes. But I see ya'all got paths carved out so you know its safe.

Well yesterday I went riding. I need to buy new handlebars now, cause I bent them going over the atv after hitting a huge rut that was hidden in the overgrown brush. Luckily I was going slow.

Just curious why didn't either of you go with the yfz450? I used to ride a trx450r and wish Honda still made them but now looking at either the raptor 700r or yfz450. Trail riding only maybe 1 track day.

The Raptor is a much better choice for what we do with less maintenance, more reliability, much broader power and higher top end. We mostly ride ditches, gravel roads and trails, and we spend a lot of time in 5th gear. We also ride longer and harder than most people do and the raptor is a bit bigger and more comfortable for all day riding vs the yfz.

The handlebars and exhaust are not stock and he also put 1inch spacers on the wheels. His special addition came with a different bumper which he is having custom painted at the moment
