The impression I got is that they are going for that Black Ops Cold War aesthetically and graphically-wise, but movement-wise they're building upon what's already been set with MWIII. And if that is the case then it's a good thing imo. 🤷🏻

All those things you mentioned are true and I respect all of them. My point of view is that I play every cod no matter how bad it is and I've been saving my money up for it already so I did pre order it. Also black ops is my fav series and I trust in treyarch.

The Shadow ban system is a major L for me. My friends and I are casuals and half of us have been shadow banned bc a salty team spam reports. My friend was shadow banned just last week and got kicked mid rank game. I’ve come back to the game after 6 months off and the game is in a much better place, but the servers have been a big downer for me.

I enjoy getting the trophies for cod on playstation. One of the upsets for me is not being able to get the platinum trophy on ps5. I was unlucky with mw3, but I'm not gonna fall for it again, so I'm gonna wait until it comes out and if the issue is the same (and it probably will be) I will buy the ps4 version.

Interesting about the Servers being “external” to Developer studios. So they are renting these below standard servers? * If that’s the case, why are they still renting them? * All this “new/cool” stuff won’t help the server issues we are living in now. You could argue, it will be worse because of the “new/cool” things coming…. * No pre order here, they burnt me with the last game. * Is it confirmed no carry forward also? MW3 already has simple, smooth and competitive movement. It's at a really good spot right now. But I feel like this new movement will be too much... It will probably have multiple abuse factors, it'll be way sweatier, and the dive is already pretty weird to use on a controller, because you can't remap buttons. And I hope they don't ruin the movement we have now! Rather add to it.

Realistically as a PC player the whole always online won't affect you, it's been that way since bo4, and best case scenario they have a similar zombies system they had in cold war in terms of servers

Nah they got us good with MW3, straight up the same game with a movement update. Dont trust "you can keep your guns" ever again because even though we kept them, they were useless compared to the new guns 😅, it was a good con, Ill give 'em that.

I’ve got shadowbanned early this year, was not able to game for 14 days. Got cleared after 14 days… But only once. I think it can happen to you if your good several times but idk if they updated that in the recent months. Had my first 30 bomb and several other 20+ games. Didn’t got shadowbanned for months. Maybe my opponents weren’t those crybabies and didn’t spam report me idk. Hope that this won’t happen again.

concerns: 1) mw2019 still looks better than mw2/3/blackops 6 cus of lighting n color depth 2) mnk input delays r way worse than controller n still dont have independant binds for crouch(without slide sliding if sprinting), slide(without crouch if sprinting), dropshot(without dive if sprinting), dive (without dropshot if standing still) playing on mnk(which is majority of pc players from other games that wanna get into cod) at this point is absolute pointless as those binds override eachother n have 0 advantage over controller as controller have the advantage of aim assist) when i play controller i easily hit crimson ranks on mnk on the other hand i can barely hit diamond n hard stuck plat most of the time tht gap shudnt be that far apart regardless of opinions 3) pls getet rid of engagement matchmaking

Pre ordering sends a bad message to companies that we can pay now and get a product or service later...would you pay to have your lawn mowed ahead of time? What if the country went to war and you needed that money because you couldnt even work your JOB anymore lol just giving a random example, do you think theyd give you your money back because the studio shut down if we were in WW3? 😂 Ppl can justify making dumb purchases any way they want, hopefully those people dont have ANY financial issues or debt because it prob has to do with a skewed perspective of the value of money (it's all cool until you need money you dont have for something ACTUALLY important like an emergency such as a tree falling on your house a car accident etc) hopefully the money for a deductible isnt an issue for the money aint a problem crew
