She could have looked for an apartment long ago but she feels obligated to help the guy anirudh because Shristi has never cared for her because of some sort of a problem that her & Janaks mother had so it seems to have always been a competition between the two affecting their kid's arshi & Janak that anirudh never held against her because she's so kind a naturally pure spirited girl so she wants to help anirudh out of pure compassion for him but he's always wanted more than that & that's the sad part because she's never really liked him in that way it's been how naive she is & he took advantage of that so that's why she didn't leave he claimed he'd kill his self what a shame he really is
