right, people think you have to sing with force, Aaliyah who could sing strongly sung with a soft voice Janet Jackson did as well, and they are some of the greatest.. Half of the people singing strongly mostly hollers.

Again maybe i'm just that different, but I love how her singing is like a Talking/Singing kind of how Drake does it. It makes it feel like she's just talking to you and it's not staged. It feels a lot more real instead of maybe funny facial expressions too often and putting crazy vocal twists on everything. I love the talk/sing thing.

***** Drake and Jhene do it alot better than anyone else who's tried to do what they do. Nobody does what they do. They just sing and sound really bad, these guys are different.

***** The reason why i think she's so good is because she gives really zero fucks about what her fan base is like, really gets into it at the smallest of concert venues and just continues what she does even though her music only pertains to a small part of the population

Amazing. I consider Tupac to be an "Emcee". Emcees are performance poets in Hip-Hop. She really does a beautiful and powerful version of this.
@PotentShit11 жыл бұрын
No disrespect but you don't have to consider him a Emcee because he IS a Emcee.
@jusjoshandthemic11 жыл бұрын
Okay. You're just being petty. That was a redundant response for you to make. I clearly stated that because someone referred to him as a poet as if a poet was something more special than an emcee. Read my entire message. Again, I consider him to be an emcee which is in many ways is a performance poet.

It is not that she doesn't have a beautiful voice. She has a very nice voice. People are complaining because there are plenty of young women who have similar voices but SO WHAT?! We don't pick the voices we're born with. Not everyone has a voice as distinctive as Erykah Badu or Randy Newman. What she has done with the familiar voice God gave her is what makes her stand out and she's made brilliant music with her voice. Yes, there are others with similar voices but what she does with it is unique.
