Great work. Have a similar kit and haven't quite finished it. One trick with mirrors is to pin them rather than glue them. Have done this on many builds and if you bump them rather thank breaking off the wire bends.

The RE kit is probably where my love of bolt on overfenders and wide body kits started. You did it justice and now I’m shopping for a kit myself! I built one in 2014 but didn’t know as much as I do now. Btw how long does it take for carbon fiber decals like that to get formed around the vents?

Yes it's roughly the same thing😁 the difference between 2k is that it came with hardener, more durable. Mostly used on real cars.

No, the catalyzed 2k stuff is just much harder naturally as it contains more solids and less solvent. The 2k stuff will always be harder... think the differenc between plastic and glass. the fact it is harder allows him to polish it to a much higher/smoother shine without the fear of burning through clear as if it were softer.

tried this carbon bonnett 4 times now and it never lays as well as yours, wrinkles so much around the vent and then as ive gone over them so many times, inevitably rips and then game over.

No, Gunze thinners does not work with automotive paints and 2k clears.

I'm building same kit and the stupid tamiya body stand for painting bodies that is adjustable well the top part fell off the base wgen I flipped it over to finish spraying the base coat and it hit floor and now I gotta wet sand all the dirt out of it cuse i build in my real ravevar shop abd I got two dirt oval latemodels so now there is red clay sand in my paint lol
