Congratulations to both of you. When I was young I learned about "jean machine",(蕁麻疹) which I took to mean some sort of rash or hives. We thought that it sounded like a good name for a retail jean store in an American shopping mall. Had a good laugh hearing you two mention that.

Italian subtitles??? PS although in English it's mainly used as a period of ten years, "decade" can also mean ten days, just like 旬. In Italian that's the principal meaning of the word, which etymologically means "collection of ten things".

@@lunalui That seems to be a historical usage specific to certain calendar systems from other languages. If I had to guess, probably only because the cognates in those languages came to mean something different. It's not a way that anyone would use the word in general English speech or writing, and it's not present in other dictionaries.
