When central banks around the world including the US have been printing money. It is better to own some physical gold and silver instead of currencies. A friend of mine just sent me an email about buying some gold coins. He is a retired renown surgeon and lives in a mansion worth more than $20m in Rancho Palos Verdes, CA. He was born in Shanghai, left when was he was a child. He has made a fortune from real estate interments too. If he is concerned about US$, small potato like me should worry about it too, to preserve what I have. BTW, US$ is no longer a dominant international trade currency.
I took a two weeks Princess SE Asia cruise from Singapore in 2015. One of the stops was Cambodia. It was a poor country. But I can see a big improvement now from your video. Yes, 7.75% interest rate is attractive. Assuming what you said, a 14% local tax on the interests you earned? For me, it doesn't matter where my money is, Uncle Sam wants a cut of my earnings too. From a diversity point of view, I would rather invest in other currencies. Any ideas?

@@mikemike-rz4he The currency that is probably better than the others is China’s RMB.
