☀️樂觀者言： 唔洗計來計去啦！ 在加拿大就用這裡的思維！ 有工開就納稅。失業有保險金，窮到燶有救濟金，冇飯開有食物銀行，冇屋住有臨時庇護所。 小學、中學讀書唔洗錢，書簿費都慳返，小學生連紙筆都學校供應。 睇醫生和住院一個仙都唔洗，醫療和設備亦是世界一流！養兒有生活津貼。長者有養老金，藥費就因省而定。養老院照顧孤寡老人。 生、老、病、死一條龍有政府作後盾！學好啲英文盡快融入這個大家庭吧☀️☀️☀️

you don't really need air condition in Toronto, it's not that hot. On average I only turn on my air conditioner 6 or 7 days per year, and I am not even trying to save money.

唔好咁樂觀。我 80 年代末期帶咗 2 萬加幣過嚟，9 年之後多咗個 B 之後返去，剩返唔夠萬六。多咗個 B 會忙好多，但當然會開心啲，駛錢又會鬆手啲。 仲有就係，每個地方都有 pros and cons，成日駛錢都要計住計住，係咪你地（或者想嚟加拿大嘅朋友）想要嘅生活呢？呢啲其實都要考慮一下。

旅遊保係當你去緊旅行咁 所以cover日子未必太長 睇返你想買嘅保險公司可以包幾長（單程） 有啲公司就算買一年都係離港60日要返港renew 同要留意保險cover各項醫療費用 最好盡快申請ohip card

喺細城市咪得囉。冇細路嘅情侶可以喺House都各自租一間房。喺曼省平均每間房$600水電網媒全包。加上巴士卡108，上網50。再加$500食飯同基礎日用品。一個月最低要千二加幣。如果有啲移民要用嘅額外費用就另計。150,000港幣一個人係可以去加拿大生活，但真係要去細城市先可以生活到。

So how much you save per month? In that calculation it only save 345 dollars per months that will be 4140 per year. If down payment is 20 percent to buy a house that will be at least 10-15 years to buy house. Wow 😮 and if you have kid that maybe 20-30 years that will be same in Hong Kong? Wow 😮

People in Canada literally need 2 jobs to pay the rent and put food on the table. 300 food? What trash are you eating? No car in Canada is like poverty lol.And not to say Carbon tax increases are effective Apr 01 meaning everything will go up even more.

Uncooked ingredients are affordable here, we always buy flyer on sale products. It doesn't mean they are trash, but affordable. The cost of living in Canada is indeed not low, and everyone has their own lifestyle. If you want to eat high-priced ingredients for every meal and drive luxury cars, that's just your personal choice.

@@CaHongMui Affordable? People in Ontario and Canada are claiming Loblaw rising food prices lol. They have also ended a 50% discount on some food items. Just to let you know I actually live at Don Mills station area while I work at College Station area. $300 ~_~ what are you eating exactly? 3 meals per day? If you grab Tim breakfast or any takeout lunch, it is well beyond 10 bucks lol. As an Ontario public servant, I only work 2 days from home each week. To say the least minimum income is not doable for most ppl, especially in Toronto/Vancouver. You know and I know it. Rent is going up. Carbon tax is going up meaning grocery is going up. Yes everyone can live in their own style but having a car is essential, and it doesn't mean you need a luxury car lol. What is the point of coming here to fly for low-paid jobs with high taxes while only being able to afford food at a discount? At least my friends who stay in HK and enjoy cheap street food lol. I understand a lot of ppl gonna start from the bottom (minimum pay), but the real question is if there are opportunities for much higher-paid jobs. Coz when it comes to retirement you need a lot of $$$. Minimum job won't give you a wishful retirement life here. Even with 20 bucks more paid per hour, after tax, it is nothing. And we have not even discussed the fall of public transit and safety in Toronto/Canada. People are being robbed or shot in daylight every week or biweekly here lol. Police are asking home owners to leave car keys by the front door to avoid home incasion lol. It is clear that Canada especially Tor/Van is a not-a-dream place where typical ppl can chase their dreams, unless they are incredibly rich and afford to purchase houses in Markham/Richmond Hill lol.
