Excellent video on the No Boundary (Nobo) travel trailer. My family has the Nobo 19.3 which looks similar to yours. We towed it across different campgrounds in Ontario, Canada but it was a lot of work. Now we have it parked at an RV campground. Looking forward to your future videos.
@HKer_In_Canada5 ай бұрын
Ours is exactly the NoBo 19.3! It’s our second season now, so far everything has been great! We don’t have space in our yard to put it, so we have to pay $50 every month for RV storage nearby.
@truthfu15 ай бұрын
We also cannot park our Nobo on our driveway. To park at a secured storage facility nearby would cost almost CAD$400 per month. So we decided to just rent a site at a RV campground which has resort like amenities and a lake waterfront. We get 3-way hookups. The campground is open from May 1 to mid-October. The cost works out to be about $500/ month.
@HKer_In_Canada5 ай бұрын
@truthfu1 wow the storage cost is insane! It’s great that you found a long term solution! Seasonal full hookup near Calgary would cost $600-800/month, many people do that to avoid hauling their rigs too much
Make sure you have a permenent parking spot , or a rental lot for storage before consider buying a RV. It is illegal to parking on the street.

Yeah we store ours for $50 a month in RV storage grounds

1.Level RV very important., 2. I am using solar power station to replace my noice gas generator.
@HKer_In_Canada5 ай бұрын
We thought about solar panels too but are worried about hail in Calgary…how’s your experience so far?
@cone60525 ай бұрын
@@HKer_In_Canada If you have a good sun source it will be fine to using solar power system. Always buying a large capacity watt power station.(Bluetti AC200 LiFePO4) etc. I think for the most small family like you who's love outdoor camping go to remodel a cargo van to a RV camping van is best idea. Cargo camping van is much easy for travelling.

I’ve always been a fan of the Sprinter Van, but they’re just so $$. Plus we have four dogs, so it’s not big enough. Maybe later down the road we’d switch to a van when we have less pets~

@HKer_In_Canada5 ай бұрын
Ours is a travel trailer, fifth wheel has to be mounted onto the truck bed. Class B is easier to drive and manoeuvre because it’s just one unit, but they cost 4-5times of travel trailers!
@sklai19075 ай бұрын
@@HKer_In_Canada I only have space to park a Class B in the backyard, but not a fifth wheeler. Parking & Storage is a problem in Vancouver.
RV, you need to learn your GVM and GCM, towing camp a city not mean too much. If you got solar dont need generator of course depends on sun and your set up
@HKer_In_Canada5 ай бұрын
Indeed, a lot to consider before deciding on the most suitable set up
