Greetings from England! Such a beautiful parade and oiran walks, I love learning about Japanese culture, it is so beautiful and interesting. I am trying to learn Japanese however I am struggling with reading haha, I am better at speaking and listening. I hope to visit Japan one day! I would love to see an oiran walk in person, I do not know much about the parade but it was so interesting and beautiful to watch, I enjoyed it very much 💞💕

Greetings from South Carolina I absolutely love this
After seeing a good many of these ' Oiran parades/walks, this would be the most unusual of all. Too many participants. It was more like a stroll in the park with a parade of elaborately dressed park goers!
8:43 You can actually hear her Koma-geta scraping the pavement over the announcer and all the other sounds.

I just saw a video of a parade w/o the shoes bouncing and scraping along! It was so movingly beautiful, that it would be hard to top! I was in tears by the end, just as some spectators were, as well! I fell in love w it...instantly! Don't know how many times I ogled it! None can top it!

I’m absolutely in awe of this beautiful procession❤. I especially love the dancers with the fans and bells(?) - the entire parade was fantastic. Who is the lady at the very end (in pale pink I think)?
