Merry Christmas, Miss Lilly.🎄❄ That is educational to learn how Christmas is celebrated in America and Japan, as well as your personal reflection.💫

Loved the old X-mas photos! So cute! It looked like your family did a lot to share their traditions and culture with others! Very heart warming :) Merry X-mas and happy new year!
Lily-san, thank you for your fantastic video. I always enjoy your great works. One thing always do at the beginning of a year is Shichifukujin- Meguri, visit of the temples and the shrines of the Seven Gods of Good Fortune at the Yanaka area of Tokyo. I hope you have wonderful holidays and a Happy New Year. Cheers!
thank you for sharing Lilly. I too will spend it alone. but i consider myself more buddhist than christian. here it's really commercialized and i don't dig it that much. i love the onsen! i like how your sister made a tradition of it. you know, i feel more japanese than american even though i live here, a piece of my heart stayed in Japan. You made a wise choice imho staying in Japan. i love the cows at the end of the video. please pet them for me : )
Im new to your channel, what happened to Ritsu, so beautiful to see her reconnecting with the heard❤ hope she is ok ❤

Toast with teriyaki chicken thigh, cake and champagne for Christmas.🎄🍗🎂🍷🥂🤶 After Christmas, we clean up the house and decorate it with New Year's decorations.🎍📅 At the end of the year, rice cake is pounded and Osechi-ryori is pounded. 🍊🍱 We eat buckwheat noodles on New Year's Eve and visit a shrine on New Year's Day. We eat Ozoni and Osechi-ryori and sleep on New Year's Day.🎉🎌⛩🙏💤 This is how we spend the year-end and New Year holidays in rural Japan.🇯🇵
Why assume you will be lonely? Why expect something you don't prefer to happen? Why put conditions on your happiness? How will that help you or any one? We don't know what is going to happen, but choosing to be happy means choosing to do what makes us happy in the moment, so even though we don't know what is going to happen, we do know we will be doing something that is representative of our happiness at any given time. Therefore we can know that we will have positive experiences while we know that we don't know what is going to happen. Even if something that we, objectively don't prefer happens, we can use it in a positive way, by learning that much more about ourselves and being that much clearer about what we prefer by having experienced something we objectively don't. We can use anything is a positive way, if we choose to and what other choice is there?
