「5万円前後の電子ピアノでどれを選んだら良いですか」と聞かれることが多くなりました。最近は素晴らしい楽器ばかりですが、選ぶ時にこのように選ぶと良いという観点で説明しました。
　電子ピアノを選ぶときは、できるだけいろいろ試奏してみてから買うことをお勧めします。
メーカによってアクションの作りがかなり違います（同じメーカの中でもグレードによって違う）。自分の好みの音色とタッチの一台を、じっくり選んでいってください。

注意）サスティンペダル（ダンパーペダル）の極性について
サスティンペダルは2種類の極性があり、メーカで採用する仕様が違いますので、
メーカと違うペダルを買う場合には、事前に確認することをお勧めします

ピアノは時間を空けてまとめて長時間練習するのではなく、
少しの時間でも良いので、毎日練習することが上達の秘訣です。
すぐに上手く演奏できず、できないことに落ち込むのではなく

リクエストに応えていただき、ありがとうございます。自分の「CT-S200」はパソコンの前にあるので、ほとんど毎日、KZbinを再生しながら、キーボードに触れています。来年あたりに電子ピアノを買おうかなと思っているので参考にします。また、これからも、楽器やオーディオ、演奏動画等を楽しみにしています。

I'm really undecided - I think I prefer the action of teh casio and some of teh sounds. I tried both this morning ,thinking I would come to a final decision. There were a couple of notes in the middle of the keyboard of teh casio that a strange resonance but I wasn't sure if it was just the way the sound was filtering through the slits or rebounding off the surface that was directly in front of it. The yamaha action was heavier and I thought the sounds of the piano were a bit one dimensional. Not all of the casio sounds were great but I had teh feeling that even though the travel of the keys is shorter that the yamaha's, I was somehow able to dig a lot more into the tone - this was(in my opinion) lacking in the yamaha..Any thoughts? I should also add that I really wanted tp prefer the yamaha - I always thought casio products were kind of uncool but they've obviously done their homework

Like you, I really worry about choosing an electronic piano that I like (I've been worrying about it for over 30 years). One way to think about it is in what situations you play the instrument. Recent Casio electronic pianos have good speakers and produce a rich sound, so I think they are suitable for indoor and solo pianos. On the other hand, the Yamaha has a heavy key and emphasizes the overtones a little, but the sound passes through the ensemble, so I would choose the Yamaha when matching with the band. Lastly, trust your instincts and get your hands on an instrument as soon as possible! Thank you!☺

So nice of you to reply so promptly! The thing about the px is that I'm not really a piano player and the keys are easier for me to play.. I like the mellow piano more than the yamaha but the rest of the sounds on the px are not so good.. And on top of that, the sensitivity might be better when i use sounds from my software. The yamaha keys didn't seem as responsive.. Sorry for asking you another question but is my last assumption correct? You've more or less convinced me to get the yamaha by the way and i can get it for s good price from my local shop..
