Dirty? Naah I think they made the right choice. Having him go into seclusion to rethink and reflect on himself is amazing, same with how Xichen went into seclusion to mourn. I actually like that he's finally getting some peace and privacy.

I feel like they somewhat did him dirty as well, when the truth is he just wanted to ask Wei Wuxian why he didn't tell him about the golden core. They made him act out, even though he is known to be prideful. He is one character who is left in the dark about some things.

@@XieliansAngel I absolutely don't agree with the tweet . A guan symbolizes a person's status , identity in the same way a turban does for Indians. It's special and isn't touched by anyone who's not family. That knocking guan off was sort of a symbolism of jc not deserving it in the first place. Since it's written in the novel that the guan is a 9 petal lotus headpiece, which means that it is created in the same model as the logo of a jiang family. In the donghua , after the guan falls , they show the jiang flag. Which means even they were aware of the significance of the headpiece...... What lwj did, was pure humiliation, it was not a threat or a warning. It was him showing that jc doesn't deserve to be called the leader when he'd have been nothing without wwx . And that's what I would never forgive the donghua team for. It was utter humiliation. ....

@@justfloating9787 Wow people are mad about this?? Personally I think they did a really good job with symbolism. I think Jiang Cheng deserved that. He's always been a bit too prideful, even after Wei Wuxian died. I think now that he's went to seclusion he'll finally think things through and reflect his actions. I think the donghua team did a pretty good job.

I've always thought he has short hair... But this is soooo beautifullll He is so tragic i mean there is a fanfiction post canon upon our Silver brigde on ao3 and i cried so many Times at it although SPOILERS i think motive with gods was too much but the case of psychological side of xichen and cheng was perfect

A lot of people are saying that they don't like the fact that the donghua made him go into seclusion but personally I think they made the right choice. Having him go into seclusion to rethink and reflect on himself is amazing, same with how Xichen went into seclusion to mourn. I actually like that he's finally getting some peace and privacy.

B-E-A-U-tiful Honestly this part hurt me because all he wanted was for Wei Wuxian to be by his side and I was also in shock on why Wei Wuxian had to preform demonic cultivation but I always knew that he must have a reson for preforming it in the first place but wow I feel bad for the both of them because we Wuxian doesn’t have his golden core and I don’t think or maybe I’m wrong plz tell me I’m wrong but can or can’t he still preform demonic cultivation without the tiger amulet ? Also I feel bad for Jiang Cheng because like I said all be wanted was for Wei Wuxian to be by his side and I see why he turned out that way :(
