The fact Nihility characters have to build effect hit rate whereas other characters like Topaz, Gallagher, Ruan Mei and Aventurine don't even need effect hit rate to land their debuff at all. Seem like a big nerf to the path as a whole since effect hit rate doesn't even increase your dmg or spd or anything for most of the nihility characters. Its only another gate to using the characters kit.

If hoyo had just kept the healing in his kit he would've been a must pull even after the nerf... e0 acheron users could avoid running a healer/sustain and run a support instead in e0 teams. His potential for DoT teams could've been insane as well, as he could fill the slot for a healer, debuffer and DoT applicator. Imagine a team with healer jiaoqiu, Kafka, Black Swan, and the furure character that could make DoT's crit like the divergent universe blessing... DoT would DESTROY the meta.

@@galaxier3543 he's best in slot in both Acheron and dot. Other good teams are ratio follow up (he can replace topaz) or any team that wants a debuffer. You can run a fun team with him and Pela where you decrease defense by 100% through sheer debuffs (brute force team go brr). If you lack good harmony units, he can also go with Yunli and argenti for the ult bonus Also omg I love his design especially his tail

I think people are mostly coping about Jiaoqiu because he is male and they don't want to pull him which is fine but they don't need to come spread misinformation and doompost on every video about him. He is the definitive best debuffer in the game there is no competition he beat Silver Wolf, Pela and Guinaifen easily in that role which is the role he is suppose to play. He consistently keeps his debuff on all enemies throughout all waves whereas other debuffers need to reapply ult on every new enemy which is near impossible to do in pure fiction or any multi wave encounter. He is Acheron best support still and generates the most stacks for her. He can be played in DOT team and achieve similar clear times as Ruan mei. He can be played with hypercarry characters just like Pela, Guinaifen and Silver Wolf but most teams prefer buffers or have no space for debuffers at all due to kit restrictions such as Firefly. Jiaoqiu won't fit on every team but in the teams he can fit like Acheron and DOT are among the strongest and most consistent teams in the game. Overall you should always pull who you like and that fit into the teams you are trying to build.

While I really like his kit and I'm for sure gonna use him for my E0S0 Acheron, I ALSO think he will be great in Yunli AND Feixiao teams. I mean he's the chancelor for Feixiao for christ's sakes and Fu Xuan and Jing Yuan have great synergy too. So I definitely think he's future proof, providing so much dmg vuln and dots and stuff. Narrowly thinkging "oh I can just use Pela" is wild because in a lot of cases, you can use BOTH. Honestly with him bbeing the same Genshin ENG VA as Kazuha and getting the same treatment of "eh why use him if we have someone else", I think it's funny that he seems pretty future proofed as a debuffer

I was looking bad at him because the cap of debuffs on PF, but i never thought about Herta shop nihility LC, that fixes his problem lol(And also that masive ATK scaling thats serius damage). Also one problem that i had is that with gui and pela i had close to never a time where i used both ults(with max gui pasive) at the same time that my Acheron had max stacks, so i either wasted stacks or wasted the ult to help acheron reach her ult, and JQ helps with that(Plus yes i am looking at you DOT pure fiction, he helps a lot there also). Probably will pull for him, but i will see the performance first. Awesome guide!

But if i had to be honest i still feel like he is lacking, Robin was a 20% upgrade for FuA comp and it's mandatory for it to work, RM is a must for Break characters to perform at their ceiling, but JQ doesn't feel as huge as Robin, but still a very wellcome upgrade for Acheron. Maybe if JQ field vuln also applied to FuA my opinnion would be different because then he would be a huge upgrade over Pela for Ratio.

His ult give Acheron 1 stack every enemy turn and max out at 6 times. Some testers say that you rarely achieve this because enemies rarely have 6 turns before JQ get his ult back unless in Pure Fiction. However in PF, Jiaoqiu can use Solitary Healing LC to get his ult faster.

y'all gotta realize quality of life is also an important part of character kit design, and that's where most of his strengths were consolidated into and why hoyo nerfed him so much because he provided so much quality of life compared to other nihility supports 1. no need to reapply debuffs each wave 2. 100% debuff refresh uptime 3. his debuff spreads to all other enemies when you ult 4. his debuff actually helps do damage, unlike trend lc 5. BETTER energy rotation than guinaifen or sw 6. of course the most important one, his acheron batterying power

Not only is he a Pela upgrade of about 25%, the calcs are higher in Acheron teams bc she can ult more often. I've seen the reddit spreadsheet that takes this into account and it shows 45% DMG increase over Pela. Pair that with his E1, he's nutty.

The heal is remove because Jiaoq + fire Mc + Pela can make Archeron be able to cast ulti. 3-5 time per cycle and play it so secure without any risk. Current fire Mc will get team wipe out within 3 cycle on floor12. However since they remove his huge value they should give some huge buff/debuff in return too.

For what i saw on showcases : At E0S1 he's like 10% better than E6S5 Pela (Pearl or Tutorial) and completely outshines her at E1S1. He's mostly playable in the same teams that Pela as a debuffer, so quite universal tho out of Harmony waifu's league. As a dot dealer he seems slightly better than E6 Guinafen with his lightcone. God Mei seems better than him in dot team, but he kinda can solve the only weakness of Ruan that is there is only one Ruan. So I'd pull him for E0 Acheron, if I didn't have E6S5 Pela or E6 Guinafen or Ruan Mei. Basically, he seems more oriented for new players, and absolutely unworth the pulls for veterans who already have plenty of options.

I think something like this also happened in the past. A fire subdps can provide 50% vulnerability to a Lighting burst dps (Topaz x Jing yuan). But in both cases, you should just pull for Sparkle

Soooo, in the vs Pela and Guinaifen section, if I understand you correctly: - vs just Pela, he's about 20% better, probably comparable to an AOE Silverwolf (without ResPen) -> however, according to your DefShred% vs Vuln.% table, SW+Pela would be about equal, if not better, than either + JQ. Give one of them his LC, and they probably far surpass him. -vs Guinaifen, you say his personal damage is 2% higher than E6 Gui, but she catches up with JQs LC, both in dmg and dmg amp. So, he would only be worth pulling for those without E6 Gui or the Pela+SW combination. If you have either of those you'd be better off just pulling his LC, no? You even say this flatout in his LC section, lol. Really, the only reason I see to pull for him is if you have Acheron, no Pela+SW and no TrendsLC. Otherwise his LC is just straight up better and cheaper to boot. Jiaoqiu: EZ Skip Sig LC: Good Value

Uhm, u forgot that he gives stacks faster plus guin's e6 takes forever to stack WHICH also disappears when enemy dies. Remember that archeron literally one shots everything and guin only shines best at DOT due to the fact that there's kafka AND dot damage isn't as bursty as archeron so her stacks only works wonders there. Dont even get me started in terms of pf when it comes to jiaoqiu vs guin there because we know how it's gonna end up with stacks lol

Herr is my question: My Acheron E2S1 team is Sparkle E0S0, Aventurine E2S1, Pela E6 with Pearls S5. Who is the better upgrade? Sparkles LC & E2 or Jiaoqiu E1S1 instead of Pela? At the moment my plan is to upgrade Sparkle. Jiaoqiu seems not much better than my Pela in my Acheron team. And I can not afford Jiaoqiu & Sparkles upgrade.

Sparkle can use Dance Dance Dance it is usually better than her sig LC unless you really need crit value. She mostly fulfilles her purpose of action advancing at E0S0. Jiaoqiu will give you more crimson knot stacks which is what Acheron really need since the dmg is covered with E2S1 Acheron and E2S1 Aventurine. You only really need E0S0 Jiaoqiu he does everything he needs to do at that lvl his signature lightcone just gives you more dmg which is unneeded for invested Acheron.

@@marcxangor4183 Bronya LC is good with Sparkle as well. E0S0 Jiaoqiu is better then Pela E6 with S5 Resolution. Sparkle Eidolons only increase dmg and you don't gain any extra stacks for Acheron doing that. Jiaoqiu gives you extra stacks in addition to increasing dmg. If you want more dmg than just get E1 Sparkle and E0S0 Jiaoqiu. Your dmg already insane with what you have currently, but Jiaoqiu will increase the amount of ults Acheron can do which also increase your dmg.

Think about this, pela only gives you a window of 1 turn for max damage with pearls, JQ gives you all the window for yourself, is not that she is worst than him, but is hyper comfy to use(at E0) and JQ E1 is amazing. About Sparkle LC, DDD is broken on her because even if you loose some damage from both her LC and the free 32% extra damage one, because she is built hyper fast and only needs 3 turns to ult, DDD is better. And I am one of those people that if you had 3 Harmonies in your team if you could have 3 DDD i would use them XD(Except maybe the RM LC)

If you want to invest in Acheron to the max or have/want yunli and feixiao, get Jiaoqiu. Both are about the same but Jiaoqiu is more comfortable for Acheron.

I think the most value in this banner is signature LC not the character. If you want a gui upgrade y not pull LC for her? I mean it’s save a ton of resource and it’s 75/25 it’s easier to get and the LC can change to other like BS.

@@armius063 No she doesn't she only give 20% more def shred than Black Swan and Black Swan also has 25% vulnerability on ult. You can't count def shred from Resolution Shines as Black Swan can also use Resolution shines LC.

That would be the best teams for that yeah. You might still want Pela over Blackswan since defense shred is a seperate multiplier from JQ, so it would lead to more damage per ult, but with BS you would be able to ULT more

@@Hyper101ACTivity Archeron + bs + jiaoqi + gal = extremely fast ultimate and easy sp manage the downside this comp are so squishy and lack of cc immu or if you want faster change gal to mc fire. it’s sooo fast to get archeron ult but not recommend cuz sp problem.

@@halayza2542 There is no Sp problem with Acheron, BS, Jiaoqiu and Gal. Gallagher hardly ever has to use his skill, Black Swan only uses skill once per 3 turns, and Jiaoqiu only uses skill once if hit by the enemy or twice otherwise every 3 turns. The only sp heavy part of this is Acheron which she is slower so she won't be taking as many turns as Black Swan, Jiaoqiu and Gallagher anyway.
