So her changing the answer was all he needed to know that she was lying and liked him instead. This drama almost didn't happen actually. The actress zhao lusi used her connections to persuade Victor Ma and the actress who played sang zhi's mom too. who is a close friend of hers and the child actress that portrayed the sang zhi (FL). Some of the wardrobe/outfits are directly taken from her personal closet too. She tried to match the ML's clothing with the FL's clothing to showcase that they are in sync without even realizing. If you go back to this Ep's and past ones they are always matching LOL.
