Thanks for such a thorough video! I’ll be new to Jibun Techo this year so it helps a lot to see flip throughs, pen tests and all the different features.

Great video! Could you think about planning another video with the Jibun Techo? The planner has English, but I think it would be great to get a full translation of the sub categories that I see on the front pages still written in Japanese. Just wondering.

I’m actually very sad that the 2020 is not using Tomoe River paper, but I understand why they made that decision. Would you say the new thin paper is similar to Stalogy paper? Also, how do wetter mediums (watercolor, highlighters, etc.) do on the new thin paper?

I heard about the Jibun Techo and now I’m happy you actually gave a full breakout of it! Maybe I will consider it~

Is there a difference in grid size between the b6 and A5 are both sets (standard and biz) the same sizes. I have the b6 slim right now but finding it too tiny. Doesn’t seem to ghost much compare to the hobonichi Techo original I bought for a daily diary.

I’ve been wanting to buy one but don’t want to waste $40 if I hate it, how does the life, idea and weekly planner stay together? Also can you add the life and the idea booklet to the biz?

Hello! I have a question. I read you like to use friction pens on your planner. Have you already had any problems with it, like hot places erasing the ink? Or ink fading after some time? Many thanks.
@TokyoPenShop4 жыл бұрын
You will definitely have a problem with Frixion if you're leaving your planner in a hot car! Would not recommend. If this happens to you you have some chance to revive the ink by sticking your paper in the freezer! Frixion ink is not archival, so if you're worried about fading in the future, I wouldn't use it. I use my planners for a year and then usually toss them out. I don't intend for them to be archived. Hope that helps!

I noticed that it appears you are using the actual Jibun pages for 2019 but using one of the supplemental notebooks for 2020. Please correct me if I am wrong. I am wondering if the supplemental notebooks also have the new “thin” paper? Thank you!
@TokyoPenShop5 жыл бұрын
The supplemental notebooks are using the new 'Thin Paper'. I was comparing the previous Tomoe River Paper with the new Thin Paper. I hope this answers your question.

Hello, I am looking to purchase the A5-Slim Standard Jibun Techo but in a Kit. I can’t seem to find the kit on your website that includes the diary (calendar), life booklet, idea booklet, and pencil board all in one kit. Is there a spot where I can find that? Thank you so much. I always use your store to purchase my Japanese stationary

Treisha Francis my post was asking Kimberly at Tokyo pen shop. The reason that I could not find what I was looking for was because it was the off season for the Jibun Techo. So I had to wait until right now when they just got their stock in. I made this question a while ago and they didn’t have the 2021 stock in yet. But now they do

👋 when do the orders go out? What I’d like to know, if order is placed today, when can I approx. expect to receive my order? Would it be a couple of weeks to a month if coming from Japan ? Thank you.

Hi Lisa, Our orders all ship from the United States, so if you are in the US, shipping time is usually 2-3 days. If you place an order today, it would probably ship tomorrow. Thank you!

does the 2020 biz start in Nov or Dec? Also, would the b6 slim biz fit (without its cover) into a personal size Midori travellers notebook? thanks!

ah I now saw the dates of each one. Still curious about whether it would fit, even with a little overhang, into a midori cover though L)
@TokyoPenShop5 жыл бұрын
@@lucyrewilliams5110 The overhang is too extreme for it to work, in my opinion. I don't think you'd be happy with that combo.

I wish u would zoom in closer when u are showing ur products. I have never used the these planners before so was very interested in seeing the actual pages and the pen tests up close, but u keep the camera so far away u can’t read any of the headings on the pages. U can’t see ur writing on the pen test at all to be able to judge for ourselves the results. Great information but Terrible camera views.
