That other big typical on day one was bigger, but the hunting and seeing big deer everyday is pretty sweet.

I agree, The big typical that walked across that little ridge behind the little 3x3 was a great buck. But heck to have the opportunity to hunt an area like that, geez man what a dream.

They screwed up not shooting that first buck. I doubt that buck they got will go 185.
@bobmiller6708 Жыл бұрын
They only screwed up if the definition of a successful hunt is determined by the score of a deer.I have shot deer over 200. If I see a deer that does it for me , its score is non issue. The guide is spot on. A trophy is determined by the hunter.

20000 for a 178 180 inch buck passed a 200 typical with a kicker and big brows ouch cool experience but I live 30 miles from there 170 plus is a very common thing even on public go back and kill a hog

What a great beautiful buck! Probably the most amazing and beautiful mule buck's and also does in the whole country. I think the only place that might compare is western Wyoming. But New Mexico is still the absolute pinnacle of big game hunting. If it's not the jicarilla mule then it is northern New Mexico elk.

What did that tag cost you if you don’t mind me asking?

Tag is $17,500 plus whatever the guide charges.

I shoot bigger mulies on public land at avg. shot distance of 20 yds. with recurve/longbow (check my videos). Get close with range limited weapons, you can do it!.

Hey deerlover sheridan, I’m guessing by the name you’re a hunter. We are all left to assume you leave your four-wheel-drive truck at home during hunting season and ride your horse!! Or because you stopped the truck a few miles sooner makes you somehow superior. Happy hunting.......
