This is crazy. When you showed the pie maker last video, I seen making corn bread muffins. Take one or two muffins upside down on a plate and cover with either weaner's and beans or sausage gravy for a quick easy evening meal. Talk about comfort food. YUM!
@TW12573 жыл бұрын
Never heard of using cornbread with sausage gravy or beans and weiners. I'd give it a go. I have crumbled it into milk and a lot of people like to crumble it into buttermilk.

I think a lot of us have one still boxed up small appliance or gadget we've forgotten about. I had an eight dollar clearance priced French press sitting in storage for several years until I finally got around to using it. Ken, your little pie maker would be good for mug cakes and other not too messy single serving foods. I have an entire collection of cookbooks for one or two servings and really small batch recipes just to avoid leftovers.

We have a small generator, up here in north eastern Ontario we get power outages pretty often. Most times its just a couple of hours, but on occasion we get a day or so. It’s enough to power a light and the fridge. Now i know i can use my retro tiny makers,.

Ken my Christian bretheren, great job, jiffy is a little sweet for me & I'm diabetic but I will eat it sometimes, but my wife likes it, the reason I'll buy 2 is I'll use whole milk for my wife & buttermilk for mine plus I can finish both near the same time , also I like the fact that I can add corn kernels, lima beans, frozen peas, diced potatoes, anything I want etc... this is a neat little appliance, God bless you & yours pal
@msr11163 жыл бұрын
Jiffy is sweet and it's my understanding that Southerners like their cornbread savory since it's one of their types of bread, like biscuits are. I myself buy mixes and cut the sugar with additional fine cornmeal, flour and baking powder. Rare that I don't doctor up any boxed item.
@KenClick3 жыл бұрын
Yes, it is sweet. We like cornbread both ways. It depends on what we are having with it. Thanks for watching!

I have 2 pie makers and several solar generators. I mix equal amounts of corn meal and krusteaz buttermilk pancake mix together with water and a little sugar. That produces very nice cornbread muffins/biscuits that can go well with a can of chili or soup during emergencies or just as an every day meal.

I ordered used the Keebler mini pie maker, gets here this week. Makes 4 pies at once. I wonder if my power pack will power it, make kiesh, hash browns, a biscuit and pie in one go.

Sorry, I don't remember now. Thanks for watching!
@rosepaul96816 ай бұрын
The power unit started with 100% charge. After baking two muffins, there was 66% left. So, 34 % was used?? The pie maker says 350 watts on its label.
@larrydruell89563 жыл бұрын
