Jiggle, Lovely images! I always used to shoot in hard light with my canon dslrs without the need of an ND filter. Now with mirrorless, for me it’s harder because the sensors are far more sensitive to light. Your method is easy to combat hard light and is very straight forward. I have never used an ND filter. Any recommendations for an ND filter? What strobe were you using. I have always used diffused artificial light, but using hard artificial light with hard environmental light makes sense because it looks more realistic. I was taught to only use soft artificial light with females. You showed me that artificial light is appropriate with not only the gender of a subject but ambient environmental light should be taken in to account as well. Thank you for your content and your channel. I wish you continued creativity and continued success.

Very nice! Part of the reason hard light works just fine as a key/fill outside is there is already so much light bouncing around that unless you go to really high ratios, the hard light can't create hard shadows on the subject. There's just too much wrap already happening from all the bounced light.

Your posing instruction were not not clear. You should have notices that the model did not follow your unclear instructions. You should know that e.g "back leg" is ambiguous. The background is not pleasing at all. To me the lighting is ugly. At 8:14min you said "I love it". I would not transfer such a picture to computer. Usually I agree to your photogrphy but this picture seems not right to me in many ways. An addion: I recognized whats wrong: Your subject in not in hard light. The subject is lit from being (see 6:11min for instance). So the suject in shade, and the light in shadow is soft. Therefore hard light to light does not match the ambient light. Therefore the picture looks so wrong.

You should have positioned her a little more to the side, to avoid showing her underpants to the camera, and I cannot believe I'm seeing her underpants under her dress and you have decided to edit it in this video.(facepalm)....
