what do you use for bait or lures?

depends what fish I'm targeting and what bait is running. if the mullets are running then I use mullets. Likewise, when the greenies or mojarras are running then use them. Otherwise I use live shrimp.

how do you determine what days you'll use the goofy jig and what days you'll use this setup?

The goofy jigs is mostly used when the Pompanos are running and usually on the east coast it's around December and on.

I fish more on the surf side moving up and down looking for the bite and occasionally I fish the inlet.
