Crush OrangeSoda It is guaranteed. Wizzy just didn’t input the knee fast enough so rest allowed him to hit. All other puff moves have too much start up frames basically guaranteeing it.

@vin w hbox is at 84 here (77 when he gets grabbed) and yes, luigi is dead to knee at 84 on yoshi's, (?v=q-3Ws5vB6nc) as are most of the cast (if you want, I can upload videos for falco, marth, samus and yoshi too.) jigglypuff is not some poor baby that has to struggle so hard to survive. yes she dies early to fox's kill moves on yoshi's, but on the bigger stages she is one of the tankier members of the cast due to the inability to reliably hitconfirm into kill moves. this is especially noticeable against characters that aren't fox.

Stray Dog the point wasnt that its impressive because luigi wouldnt have died to the knee. Whats impressive is the match-up knowledge as rest is a move you are very likely to get killed because of if you miss and thats why comparing it to luigi's nair is false because trying to mash rest out of combos isnt safe. So the choice has be made off of match up knowledge. it is a true combo, but if wizzy misspaces rest hits first, and you cant escape or counter with other moves misspaced or otherwise.

I enjoy puff but I understand why people don't like her. IF your just an outsider of the game she looks completely free and a lot less tech heavy, when a lot of people are appealed to melee for its fast gameplay she slows the game down but, if you enjoy playing puff or understand her it a lot more fun to watch. I only wish we had some other top level puffs so we could see more styles!

I like HBox and I think its fun to see him play because the talent is obvious. But in general I think most agree if you watch a puff combo vid vs a cap or marth combo vid, the puff is a lot less visually appealing. I imagine most would agree.

In one, you hit a miss tech with a light enough move once and the other three times and in both they are forced to stand up. It's not exactly wrong of him to say their differences are negligeble, smash 4 community should have just gone back to calling it reset since it isn't broken like it was in brawl.

Although I like this rest for this scenario, only by having a considerable lead attempting this makes it feasable as a reversal. However, if Wizzy drifted backward then the knee would hit since Rest only has a hitbox out for 1 frame.

if theyre late you can just react and press down b. you get used to it. try to spam down b in friendlies against up hrow up air so that you can see when it works and when it doesnt and you should get used to the timing.
