Well, not everything needs to be revealed!! Even in ‘Pink’ movie, it was never revealed as to why ‘Amitabh Bachchan’s’ character was the way that he was or what happened to his wife, why did she die??!! In the climax when ‘Amitabh Bachchan’ says the dialogue ‘Chahe woh aapki girlfriend ho, friend ho, koi parichith ho, koi sex worker ho, yaa phir aapki apni wife hee kyon na ho, No means No’!! In that particular dialogue, if you observe carefully, when he says ‘WIFE’, his voice shivers!! A minute yet powerful detail!! What does that mean??!! Did he also try to physically abuse his wife inspite of her saying ‘NO’, taking for granted that it’s just his wife so, how bad or wrong could it be??!! Is that the reason because of which she became like that and with that trauma, guilt and realisation ‘Amitabh Bachchan’ became the silent and creepy man??!! Is that why he tried to help those girls thinking that it would be his ‘Praischith’??!! It was never revealed!! People kept guessing!! And that was the beauty!! This movie is from the POV of ‘Sathya’ and ‘Ankur’ who do not have any idea why their father committed suicide!! His father didn’t tell them nor did he leave any kind of note!! They, forever will never get to know why. Then how will we get to know why if we are watching the film from their POV??!! I think it was a very smart move to not reveal the father’s back story!!

Its sad that such talented actors are left with bad scripts not by their choice but they still have to do because they will become irrelevant to bollywood if they dont ... same karan johar who saved "jigra" script for alia .. gave tripti a movie like "good news 2" .. he could have done vice versa specially after seeing "qala" and "bulbul" .. tripti is not good for commercial movies ... as a director he should have known that but NOOOO .. ALIA baby doesnt have better script selection ... better script are presented to her on plate ... Even vasant bala ( director of jigra ) revealed alia wasnt his choice for movie but when he send script to karan johar he immediately send it to alia and when director showed objection karan said " this is how things works her" .. this is revealed by the director himself on tried and refused production interview in front of alia when she was trying too hard to prove that she got the film by her talent ....
