Just got root canal for 3 of my lower incisor teeth and to be honest my teeth had a severe infection so at the first sitting it took 2 shots of anaesthesia to numb , it hurted a lot but was bearable. After that 2nd and 3rd sitting were without anaesthesia had a little pressure on tooth thats it. So I would like to say that this procedure is pain-free and you experience little to no pain but if anyone has a severe infection like me, they might experience some pain maybe about 3 on a scale of 10. So dont delay your appointment for dentist.

I had my root canal treatment done last week... Whenever I try to chew there it hurts a little as if I'm pushing the teeth down is this pain normal.? And furthermore is it normal to feel a little weird after getting a permanent crown ? I got my permanent crown yesterday and it feels a bit weird.. Moreover the dental crown feels a bit heavy... I don't know how to describe this feeling... And while chewing I feel a slight push on the root canal tooth... I'm really worried about it.. Is it normal for the first few days??

When I got a root canal it hurt when they were picking at my cavity trying to take out that black stuff in it and It Hurt too when they were drilling too and I had to get 20 shots of anesthesia since my tooth was still feeling pain

My appointment went well and he put in a temporary crown that should be ready in 3 weeks. They numb your gums before they start so it isn’t the painful procedure it once was. The only thing that kinda hurt was the “heated instrument” mentioned in the video, kinda hurt in the gums off to the side.

Heated instrument is an old technology, nowadays GP Cutters are used. These are battery operated & generate heat at the instrument tip only.

had one yesterday, so if it anyone wants to know if it hurts or not. let me guide you. the only pain you will feel is going to be when they inject you with anaesthesia and that would too be minor. the operating people don't start the procedure until your Jaw becomes numb. And as soon as your jaw has fully become numb. You won't feel any pain throughout the session.
