THIS IS AMAZING! By far the best compound radius idea I've seen.

Wow! You're a genius. I've seen this mechanism suspended above a sanding belt in some guitar factory videos, and mechanisms where the router moves relative to the board, but this seems to be the best of all worlds for a small shop.

Great design! This would be super easy to manage different radii. Simply drill new pivots centered on the fret board. Love it.

Dude, that's wonderfully simple.

Thank you for sharing this, that is very clever and quite ingenious for something so very simple to build and achieve. Very, very clever, thank you again.

Very nicely built. The bench mounting is a good idea, especially for people who aren't going to be radiusing fretboards on a daily basis and so would rather spend a couple of minutes getting it out and setting it up than lose the floor space.

Yes it save a lot of floorspace, Thanks :-)

Are the pins at an angle? Or are they just drilled 90 degrees to the side?
@Yosser702 жыл бұрын
That’s a very nice jig but could I ask about the quick release that seems to be on your router? Looks like you just clipped it onto the jig, and that’d be very handy.

Thanks 😀 the quick release system is copying rings from Festool. I baught some extra for my jigs.

Very nice jig! I'm just wondering, how do you know which angle to drill for the pegs?
@masinstrumentmakeri37903 жыл бұрын
I made a full scale drawing on a paper and drill the holes on free hand. Thanks 😀

Jeg laget en lgnende jig for mange år siden, men den var ikke så solid og godt bygget som din! Jeg tror jeg kommer til å lage en jig som denne. Takk for inspirasjon! :)
