When I first became an army I heard a lot about the ships and the most popular one was taekook so I checked it out to see what all of the hype was about. They didn't really seem like a couple to me just two really close friends and once I got deeper into bts and started watching more of their videos/ shows it was just so clear to me that Taehyung wasn't the one Jungkook had eyes for and despite watching a lotttt of taekook videos to make me believe and understand, just one jikook moment made me want to reevalulate who exactly everyone should be shipping here. I agree. 💜 Not to be a downer but the sad reality is it's better they don't come out, at least for now. Hetero idols are barely allowed to even look at each other in public let alone date. It's easy to forget since jikook are in the same group and no jikooker gives a rats ass they are "same sex". All we see is the chemistry and love. They are the ones who need to be ready to potentially lose a lot or everything , their story, names and image taken and used by everyone for their own narrative, and fight like he'll to get past the initial blowback. Probably very real physical threats as well. This would not just affect the two of them. This would affect all of BTS and Big Hit. I'm sure we think of these things and it sucks because we wish things could be different. In my view just as the op said we can already see them out and happy. That's all we can ask for, what they choose and feel safe and ready to show us. At least we have this safe and supportive jikook corner of the internet where nothing can touch them or their love. No editing needed. No jumping through "conspiracy theory" hoops. No blurry videos to scrutinize. Easy peasey. If there's any question about a clip, no problem. Just watch the entire original, with the proper context. Anyone can see that they literally gravitate quite naturally to each other. They just want/need to be around each other as often as possible. No interpretation or "Analyzer" is needed. Any rational person with an eye for critical thinking can easily parse it out. The simplest explanation is usually the correct one: They are way past the "shipping" phase. They deserve better than that.
