Honestly i'm new to the fandom. I used to be an exo-l and i used to always hear about taekook.. when i first joined the fandom i paid attention to taekook thinking that "this is the ship" cuz of how popular it is.. but i couldn't help noticing jikook. There's just something abt them. Idk how to describe it but when taekook seem like best friends/bros with tae always "chasing" after kook. Jikook have this weird aura that screams sexual tension and something too intimate and flirty to be friendship or brotherhood. I know it was kinda one sided in their early days but it became mutual since 2016 and it just keeps getting stronger. Jk n jm are definitely competing over who loves the other more.. and that's why i decided to stick with jikook although my bias tae

WARNING LONG MESSAGE AHEAD. (Please read it but if you don’t, it’s cool too lol) Why do I feel like we’re getting closer and closer to them being out? I now it’s very dangerous for them, but the more and more these romantic and couple like moments are being let happen and BigHit Is actually highlighting these moments, has me wondering if they are going to stop hiding it. To anyone who has eyes, Jungkook clearly is very close to all members but treats Jimin so much differently. Differently as in romantically. Yes the boys all hug and Jungkook gives and gets kisses from all the members (honestly he’s the maknae, he’s baby, how could u resist?). But the way he treats Jimin is only the way I would treat someone if I really was romantically attracted to them and I’m sure many others can say the same, Jikook supporter or not. So it is very much a possibility that I would not dismiss. If they are not together, that’s fine. However, if they are together, BigHit is allowing all these obvious moments to emerge, I think we can safely say, something is going to happen in the future. It might not be anytime soon or even in their idol career, but they’re getting more and more comfortable with their sexuality and their relationship. And if anything, I am very proud of them for just that. :) Thank you for reading.

Honestly, if we are considering their idol career, I don’t think they will ever come out. And I’m not saying that to start sh*t but I just can’t imagine the emotional stress and pressure that they would face if they come out. I believe that pressure will overwhelm the relief of being out. Being two of the biggest idols in a relationship with eachother? There’s already so much pressure on them as it is...from media, GP, and even from their own fandom. Of course, if it happens they deserve nothing but more love and support but not everyone is going to think like that. it’s not only a matter of disappointing the heaps of dedicated fans (the many ones that like jm and jk to keep a single and available image), it’s also a matter of BTS as a whole, and Korean’s opinion and pride of them (I know things are changing but Korea is still pretty reserve). There are five other members to consider too, and if they ever went public this will affect the whole group. I mean, they have express that they are even scared to date. They are so careful about their private lives and BTS’ image, bc they all have to live up to that name. There are just things that they won’t make public bc of ridiculous backlash, which is understandable. But that is if they are actually romantically involved, bc In the end we don’t know. We just interpret things a certain way. One can believe what they want but it does not make anything factual. Also, from what I’ve seen, a lot of fans (not just spiteful opposing shippers) believe that bighit and jikook is playing up the FS. Or rather, queer baiting (which I don’t believe. Just bc there are more touchy moments between jikook doesn’t mean it’s queer baiting 🙄) i realize that there is an argument between the whole FS vs QB thing but I won’t get into that. The point is, ppl will conclude that bighit is really queer baiting, more so if they come out, and it’s going to anger ppl (and for right reasons if it’s true). It’s crazy to me but it has happened before so yeah...anyway sorry for the essay but I just wanted to share my thoughts. Again, not trying to spread negativity bc I really adore jikook, they are the sweetest, but I just want fellow jikookers to consider other outcomes (some not so positive) and not expect anything from the boys. It’s enough that they exist and literally made Serendipity their thing 😭
