Honestly I think that was Jin deliberately clowning Jikook. These two have been randomly doing that quote for years now. So Jin deliberately changed the wording as well, instead of the 'You are me and I am you' which is more of a romantic line, he went with 'you are you and i am me' which is the opposite of romantic its stating the fact. So he was clowning but didn't even use the correct wording deliberately. That's why Jimin laughed even harder cause it was Jin obviously teasing them. And since Tae, Jimin soul mate and best friend who knows EVERYTHING about Jimin, first guess was a lyric from Serendipity that means that he loves that song alot. And only reason Jimin didn't say yes is because he was thinking about Life goes on.

I remember the last time Jin used the You are me line with JK, Jimin was genuinely surprised. I think he said something like "don't use my song in that way" or "don't butcher my song". So maybe that's why Jin changed the words it like that because he wanted to joke/mess with JM and JK but also not make Jimin uncomfortable. I thought it was weird at the time because Jimin and JK use it often enough but obviously You are me, I am you is special to Jimin and JK for what ever reason. I could be completely wrong though. It was funny that Jin did that though but also super awkward, it made me laugh.

That blindfold thing in LA where Jungkook mission was to touch members nose. He touched the nose of the members when they are blindfolded or clowning that they have something in their nose. But when it comes to Jimin, it seems like its not a mission. He had his chance to touch Jimin's nose when he was being blindfolded by him but I wonder why he didn't touch it even if he had the chance since he can't see. Personally I don't think there is a big secret behind the phrase, what happens is that (for some reason) it became an internal joke between jikook (maybe because jk keeps bothering the boys, he made a joke and jm played along) the fact that they only made it between themselves is what drew the line with the other members, if they try to get in they are going to feel alienated, just as Jin surely felt when Jm scolded him (? for doing so... What really strikes me is that it becomes evident that there is a clear differentiation/preference with jk and jm does not allow others to be part of it. I'm sure there will be many other things like that that we don't know about.

The clip at 4:12 is actually longer and holds an interesting Jikook moment but I don't know where it's from so I can't find it (anybody?). Basically we can see Jimin intensely staring at JK from behind as JK faces the crowd. Jimin slowly approaches JK as the lights go out in the stadium, now we can only see their black silhouettes and then Jimin presses his head against JK's back as if... there was nowhere else he'd rather be than right here with JK. He wasn't smiling, even from the side you could see he was overwhelmed with emotion, completely lost in the need to touch JK somehow. When we see this clip here the lights are already back on and Jimin had lifted his head. He smiles only when JK turns to face him because, I reckon, he didn't want JK to see his seriously whipped expression and overwhelm him too. Anyway, that's my point of view 💜 I wish someone loved me the way they love each other. OK EDIT, I'VE FOUND THE VIDEO. Guess I remembered it differently (why the lights out? Something that you said caught my attention in this video. You said that sometimes you think other BTS members try to normalize what Jikook does. I’ve always thought that they do that. I don’t know how much you like doing analysis videos, but I think it would be really cool to show some examples of the rest of BTS “normalizing” Jikook. An example that I think about is how the other members will often overreact to Jimin during their reaction videos. Obviously Jimin is a God and deserves very high praises👏🏻🙌🏻👏🏻🙌🏻, but sometimes I think they overreact to him to try to balance out Jks natural reaction to him. Another example I think of is that sometimes it seems like they do extra skin ship. Obviously, all of BTS is very close with each other, and usually don’t have any problem interacting with each other physically, but sometimes I think they do extra skin ship to try and counterbalance Jikook if they’re being particularly outrageous LOL.

@25 one of the first clues that makes me think this is a Jikook song is when the MV was even dropped...the date is right there on the MV when it starts, and guess what?...Dun Dun Dun...It's Kookie's birthday! LOL, Jimin has even said in the past (I'm not sure where I saw this as I am fairly new Army, but I know I saw him say it somewhere) that if he ever fell in love he would write a song for that person as a gift. Now I know that Joon wrote the song, but I am fairly sure he did not write it without Jiminie's input as this is HIS solo song (same as with Tae's Stigma song...didn't Joon write that too, but it's widely known in the fandom that that song has a special meaning to V, tho he has never spoke any depper into it than that?).

Love the video like always!! At the end of the day it’s all speculation but namjoon is close to jm so it wouldn’t strike me as off if jm told namjoon what he wanted the song to be about and joon being the good friend and leader he is, was able to fulfill that. Even if he didn’t write it with jm and jk in mind, jikook def. made it their own song 🤣 Having said that, why do people think it’s about yoonmin or is it just because it’s another big ship?

there are, one says that yoongi and jimin have this saying where they say "you know" and "I know" . and someone, I guess jin states way back that yoongi's green hair was like penicillin, and then they also believe that because yoongi doesn't differentiate between genders, so he may be close to jimin... but I really don't think that jikook would pick the "you are me, I am you" as their ongoing thing, if it was a song dedicated to yoongi and jimin... contradictory isn't it?
