I had a bestie many years ago but I felt she was dissing me a cut out first,20+ yrs ago ,round one we formed a friendship an when ger inlaw came to where sge was she threw me away, Did it bam, straight out went away. Saw her one day an she didnt speak. It hurt a lot. 20 years later fate brought us back,we had so much fun together an we just picked up where we left off. I had to move away,we had coffee every morning about 5 a.m an talked on the phone. Then she moved to Huston,an once again I she hurt my feeling an she chose her relative. I didnt ask her to chose,she just did. I have gone through many life shakjng things without her an so as she. I dont know if we could get it back now but wish it had never ended. Shes lost a husband an brother since ,myself Ive lost a son,weve gone through heavy stuff without the other. My healt is now pretty fragile an I feel its just about check out time,wush all this could have been fixed. Sad in Collinsville, wishing Pat the best.

I just started rewatching season one. It's better the second time all these years later. What I like best are the secondary characters. Totally charming husband Mario Singer and lovely daughter . The dynamic between Bobby and Alley (real life between the lines drama. ) Jill is adorable. Countess LuAnn is totally classy (what happened?) I even liked Alex and Simon so much more this time around. The unfilmed drama between Bethany and Jason number 1. It was as close to real as TV ever gets.

Jill is so nurturing. For someone not used to being nurtured it can feel a lot and a little stifling / vulnerable but it comes from a genuine place. Jill is old school wealth has no need to be jealous of Bethenny. Jill just wants to nurture and make people happy. I think Jill could be nasty because she was hurt back then. She tried to help out the Van Kempens too and got that thrown back in her face! Just because Jill has good connections and is a nurturer doesn't mean she herself doesn't need true friends to have her back
