At the beginning of the week I emptied the rain glass with 40 mm in it. Then we have to wait before we can do something on land again.
On the light soil I was able to start harvesting the red onions on Wednesday afternoon. They were still somewhat green and the soil was still a bit on the wet side, which meant that the harvesting was not quite ideal. The second afternoon it went better.
We were also able to continue harvesting potatoes at the end of the week: the harvest of the mini tubers on Thursday morning and a number of other plots on Friday morning. This went great. The last variety to be harvested is the Lady Jane. We will wait a little longer for this. the mother tubers.
