I listened to this show regarding chronic pain. Believe me, people will do anything to get relief. I once was so judgmental, but no more. We all suffer from physical pain, emotional pain or spiritual pain. I will never judge anyone again after suffering from chronic pain myself. I just hate that it took me so long in my life to understand. I wished I was much more understanding when I was much younger.

Will flee California, but will not learn from it. These refugees, especially those that do not learn the lessons of their sunken ship will ruin your state, regardless of their intention or "chill." They will flee to places doing better, and rather than learn to do things that way, will insist the old ways they just fled the consequences of are better. Greet them appropriately.

Mine too…she was my tv mom growing up. Getting ready for school in the morning, my tv was on SportsCenter and she was there keeping me entertained as I got ready for the day. I’m happy that she branched herself outta that light and is making her own now. Her getting fired from ESPN was the best thing that could’ve happened to her.

As a person on the LGBT spectrum and survivor of Factitious Disorder Imposed on Another AKA Munchausen by Proxy - THANK YOU It is terrifying that we are enabling these types of abuses under the guise of “acceptance.” Permanently altering a developing child is not okay and this should not be controversial. this was so educational. she sure knows her facts. I trust her opinion 100x more than some TV plastic surgeon who has done a compete turnaround on his opinion! Jillian knows how the body works when it comes to weight loss. Its her job to know. You can tell she has studied it hard. Even I can figure out that the body will rebel against any quick weight loss procedure. Sadly people dont care they just wanna be skinny NOW. worry about the rest later.

I’ve always admired Michaels since BL. I do disagree with a few points, particularly with GLP-1. It’s not a hormone, it’s a peptide. And there’s good science around its impact on weight loss. It’s far better than bariatric surgery, which many people resort to and has higher risks. If people can get a handle on their cravings (neuro), and feel fuller longer (mechanical), this is a better approach than surgery or “gut it out and work harder”. Obesity needs a multi-disciplinary approach.

Hate that feeling. I had surgery for scoliosis at 27 in 2021. It was successful but I still deal with chronic pain. Slightly better I still mountain bike 20-40 miles a week. It’s tough, easier to accept at an older age. Disagree on not doing action sports, it was keeps me alive. And if you try your best to be safe and smart , it’s a risk like anything. I’ve ride over 3000 miles MTB since surgery went down only 2 twice both on a wet wooden bridges. You can’t bubble wrap yourself

Agree with almost everything except her view on glp1 peptides. The reason that people take exogenous GLP one is because they are deficient just like if you are deficient and testosterone estrogen progesterone those things may need to be replaced and yes, for the rest of your life. If you have never had a deficiency you don’t understand what these type of medication are fixing beyond just wait. It’s the food noise. It’s the anxiety. It’s the inflammation in the body. I think you need to do some more research with people that have had success with this because if you don’t have a deficiency, you don’t know. The people that need to take these GLP one medication‘s are more than likely, taking lifelong meds for other things and this one medication even if it is for life, will be far less expensive to the pharmaceutical companies than any of the other health problems that could occur. and no, they don’t necessarily stop working. If you continue to take them it’s not a one size fits all remedy. But like I said, I agree with almost everything else that you said in regards to every other topic.

i’m a nurse and have and l5-s1 herniation right now i’m in the “i’ll do anything phase” i’ve never not been able to walk but i spent 3 months in 10/10 pain and what it does to your mental health-esp when you are thinking you’ve lost your career i do have a spine doc who says i will get better-the disc actually can repair but there’s things you have to do and ways you have to change your life and change the way you move. i’m 6 months in and really just started healing 3 months ago. and my doc says at like 6 months to a year more.
@th6252
@th6252 2 ай бұрын
Who told you the disc repairs? This is utter nonsense, once damaged, the disc continues to degenerate. It’s possible to stem the tide of degeneration to a degree and even ways to manage the situation without resorting to medicine (although there is a time and place for it), but the disc will never be the same or “repair/heal”. Also, L5/S1 disc is the one that carries THE most load in the spine and is why it is the level most operated on by far out of any disc in the spine. Please seek care elsewhere, that doctor is a loon.
@amberbenson7885
@amberbenson7885 2 ай бұрын
thanks for your unhelpful input. i wasn’t just told it could heal but shown exactly how the disc wall can improve. i didn’t say anywhere that it would heal completely and never have problems again. and like most people in healthcare will continue to avoid an ELECTIVE PROCEDURE. also-note-highly educated RN with really high health literacy. no need to talk to anyone the way you replied to me. but especially someone who is a licensed health care professional.
@th6252
@th6252 2 ай бұрын
@@amberbenson7885 Fist off, I apologize for coming across as condescending, that wasn’t my intent. I’ll admit, it triggers me when I see other healthcare professionals give false information aa this is coming from a licensed healthcare professional with 20+ years experience working with people with your exact problem. I’ve never told anyone the disc will heal, that is being disingenuous and unhelpful to the patient and a lie. I do not and have not ever lied about the disc “healing/repairing” to any of my patients. Can the protrusion reduce to a degree? Absolutely. Does it mean you won’t be able to live a full and healthy life? Absolutely not, I always tell people if you’ve seen one person with a herniated disc, you’ve seen one person with a herniated disc. Every situation is different, but the one commonality is the disc doesn’t “heal/repair”. And also note, I did not advocate for surgical or medical procedure in my last post…but there can come a time and a place for it for some people(not you necessarily). As a matter of fact the only advice I think I gave was avoiding someone possibly giving bad info.

@JillianMichaels my kids told me into their adulthood that I "planted seeds". That's all we can do. They might hate what we're trying to teach them NOW but they'll appreciate it ONE DAY!!! Don't give up!!!

Why Sage doesn’t have millions of Subscribers. She is so sweet and interviews smart people but Candace Owen just spews hate, gossips and conspiracies had million followers. This shows us how damaged and hateful humans are. They better listens to nonsense other then an healthy conversation that we all can learn one thing or tow. Yes we can agree and disagree but at least we can listen to different opinions.

Sage’s following will grow. But I wouldn’t say Candace Owens spews hate. She just has a very different energy than Sage does. Candace has more masculine, warrior energy.

They are just 2 different shows. You don't have to choose one over another. But they are definitely different.
