Hopefully you read new comments. I love your cookbook and videos. Your book made me less scared to use my instant pot. My favorite recipe is Garlicky Garbanzo Beans & Brown Rice. I hope you are well in this weird pandemic time. I just wanted you to know your personality brightens my day and I miss you on KZbin. Take care

Hello Jill, Great video !! I would also tear pages out of cookbooks. But, now I will copy and paste recipes from my desktop Kindle app. I have Kindle versions of my favorite cookbooks. Thank you, again !! Jane K.

I just bought an IPOT will pickup tomorrow..but couldn't remember the cookbook that i wanted to get when i watched Chef AJ.. then low and behold it was your cook book,, so i just ordered it on Amazon.. I saw a book"Vegan Cooking under pressure by Jill Nussinow'.. don't know if she is oil free. Looks like it is very instructional on how a pressure cooker works. I might need that for a dummy like me.. Enjoy your videos very much.

Plant Pure Nation is my newest favorite cookbook along side of Happy Herbivore Abroad. They rarely get put back on my bookshelf. The Prevent and Reverse Heart Disease book also has some really great recipes.

I started my vegan journey following The Kind Diet cookbook by Alicia Silverstone....Kind of a beginners book with some of the recipes being macrobiotic. I also love Mimi Kirk...she was voted worlds sexiest vegan at the age of 76 and 79!!!and has a wonderful website where she made vegan cheese and apple pie! Thanks,Jill for sharing your library.

Like you, I have numerous cook books that have 1 or 2 recipes that I've ever tried. I bought Plant Pure Nation last year on your recommendation, and I have used many many of the recipes in it, and I use it over and over. I love it! =^..^=

Great video, Jill. Some cookbooks are good enough to have on the shelf and also a digital copy! wink, wink. (I love to meal plan while I am away from home, or be able to see ingredients I need.)

What is a good cookbook for a new vegan??
@JillMcKeever8 жыл бұрын
Well I'd have to go with the PlantPure Nation cookbook. The recipes are easy to follow, the ingredients are everyday ingredients and they are all oil-free.

Hi Jill I use eatyourbooks.com. It catalogues the cookbooks you have on your shelf and let's you search them. So for example if you have an abundance if soy curls you put that in the search and it finds all the recipes in your library that contain the ingredient soy curls. Plus it does loads of other things like bookmarking your favs etc.

I love those stories. Anyway you and your family are adorable Oh and how do I download the free with purchase kindle version of your cookbook? thanks! Kiss Kiss

Hi Donna! Thank you for buying my book; your support means everything to me. I have checked out Anja Cass. She has a great channel. I'd like to invite you to join in on my bi-weekly live broadcasts, currently on Facebook. On Tuesday nights we discuss lifestyle challenges and successes. Thursday nights, I put on a live cooking demonstration. This has been going on for the past year, we have a great time. It seems like, at least once a month, I share my story with the audience. Check me out on both of the following link. Jill McKeever, Plant-Based Lifestyle Support Group is open to anyone looking for community, encouragement, and support on their plant-based journey. I have a weird problem. I literally have about 100 vegan cookbooks. Buying them is an addiction. When I pick a recipe I have to compare it to all the similar ones in my other books and usually make a mix of a few different recipes and than never remember exactly what I did. So now I find myself not wanting to pull out all my books because it's easier to get one off the internet!
@patty-cf7jj8 жыл бұрын
Yet I'm still buying them!
@JillMcKeever8 жыл бұрын
LOL That's funny! I have to ask. Why don't you write down your version of the recipe afterwards?
