The combination of clean vocals and heavy instruments makes for a fantastical listening experience. I believe I've commented this before, but if metal relies too much on rough vocals, the songs tend to sound too similar- clean vocals carry a melody better in my opinion. Anywho, this production is overall perfection. It made my soul feel so good, especially towards the end.

If you're looking at screamed vocals to provide a melody, then obviously you aren't going to find that, but to say that screamed vocals make songs sound too similar just entirely depends on what genres and bands/vocalists you are listening to! If you stick with metalcore, or a band like Thy Art is Murder, which is all very mid-range, then you might have a case, but can you really say that Deafheaven's "Black Brick" sounds anything like, say Shadow of Intent's "Catacombs"? Screams can do many things that a clean melody can't and vice versa. As you say though, it's all a matter of opinion, absolutely fine to prefer one over the other, or a mix of the two!

Overall a 95 out of 100 on the VK scale. Visually striking, with an in-your-face magnetism somewhere between Versailles and Kimino-Virus. Not crazy about some of their other songs where the vocals are mainly just gargled screaming (tbf, every metal band these days overdoes that-- to be effective, it should be used only for accent or emphasis), but his actual singing is very good! Reminds me of Luna Sea's vocals in the strong melodic feel, and I wish he'd showcase more of that wonderful vocal ability. Love to hear him cover some Luna Sea, Hyde, YB or XJapan! Bass-player sets and maintains the rhythm with solid, well-done patterns, Drummer stays within a narrow texture range in this number, but is flat-out excellent in pacing and delivery. Guitarist is not only impressively fluid in technique but super-cute adorable. Anybody out there got her 'phone number? (Yeah, yeah, I know, and full-metal salute to Sena for having the courage to rock that look! He's got my 100% support. Go for it, kid!)

Nocturnal Bloodlust, Deviloof, Dimlim still on, for me Deluhi should reform as a band again, but alas they are on their own separate ways now, like Juri, aggy in Breakin holyday, another disbanded band Far east Dizain that had Sujk, Leda, Deluhi just reformed for once again in one man tour but just that, i think Visual kei is almost dead in my opinion, its not the same age when Dir en grey, Glay, XJapan, D'espairsray, the Gazette, Alice nine, kagrra, Lynch, Merry, nightmare, Antic Cafe, Versailles, 12012, SID, VIVID, -D-. Matenrou Opera, Deluhi, Mejibray, Diaura, Girugamesh, Deathgaze, Kiryu, lolita23q, D=out, Alsdead, Malicemizer, ExistTrace, D.I.D., and many many more, these bands once became the frontline of Visual kei scene, but now sadly only several of them that still exist until now, and even i dont listen to them anymore. But i didn't regret listening to them at the first place, they are all the best bands ever live on Japan and even on the world.
