As you might recall, I share your friend Jace's love of the taste of natural orange in my drinks. I was really leary of this product until this review. Bought the Jim Beam 11 year brown rice several years back and wasn't a fan at all, so I wrote this one off immediately. Also, like you, disliked the repeal batch. Awesome review and I'll be keeping an eye open for it. Unless I somehow defy all odds and win the sample.

To clear some things up. It's made from a mashbill that contains some brown rice which sets it apart from the standard Jim Beam white label. It is class type 101, Straight Bourbon, and has no flavorings added.

Kind of skeptical on the whole orange flavored thing...if it is more natural orange, I would be in. Had some Jameson's Orange...a bit much. Jim Beam gets a bad rap...but it was the one that got me going...it was what my dad drank. Thanks to family and friends I have expanded some over the last couple of years. Jim Beam Black 7 is a decent mixer. Knob Creek is solid. Not a fan of Bookers for the price. Excellent job on the video...to the point...no holds barred...honest review...and from the few that I have seen (just subscribed today)...you review many bottles that one can actual find in the wild. Cheers! 🥃

I'm not a huge JB fan outside of the OGD lineup. I did buy a bottle of the 7 year and was pleasantly surprised but still won't buy it again. Not sure I'll buy this but if someone offered it I'd give it a try

I'm kind of in the same ballpark as you with Beam. I'm a big fan of Knob Creek, I really like Bakers and Bookers but Beam labeled products tend to be bitter, pretty bitey and harsh

Not a bottle I'm going to get I don't buy under 45abv and only a few are on that list. Prefer 50abv + and 108 is a great proof point. I am a JB drinker. I like several other bottles from them OGD 114 and the Old Overholt rye at 114. Old Tub bib is a bottle I keep for guest that mix. Enjoy!!🥃🥃🥃

​@@jesusjones3014 I have been very receptive to criticism, which is why I invested in cameras and mic. I am new to focusing on KZbin. Most of my videos in here were shot for TikTok and are TERRIBLE videos. I started on TikTok about a year and a half ago, and over there I have almost 14K followers. And due to my low view and sub count here, I am focusing on growing it here. It doesn't happen over night. Its a grind. If you think i invented the zoom in and out, i urge you to go look at REALLY any channel with any level of production value. I actually took the editing style from @papameat Also me saying "it wont be changing" isn't me not being open to criticism. Before I responded to you, I asked some people in my community if they were annoyed by it, they said they weren't and that's when I responded. IN FACT this way I edit now was a result of feedback LOL. I'm sorry you didn't like the style, but I cant make everyone happy. I hope you stick around and watch, but if not then that's ok too.
