Jim you are the best. Last saw you at Coos Bay. I showed you a way to replace the steering joint Idea from a Hot Rod builder Sold our Canyon Lands. Age caught up with me. We ran with Howell FI never a problem. It uses GM parts available at any general motors dealer Chevy through Cadillac

The qjet should be able to get in the 14.0/14.5 range. I have a Holley 750 double pumper HP series carb on my 11 sec small block olds powered 72 cutlass and I can get 14.0 cruising AFR. The bigges set back to the EFI units is despite the spark control being a great feature you have many features that leave alot to be desired. You can tune the mid range and low range AFR if you Taylor the distributor timing curve for the fuel curve of the engine demands.

So after you set the idle circuit to 2" and idling at 950rpm do you hook the idle circuit back to the distributor? Reason I ask is that my vacuum advance is hooked to the intake.

Jim, if idle is 950rpm in park what does that equate to in Drive foot on the brake? 950 seems high.
