My analysis on Boylen is that he has a concept built around the development of young players unable to slow down and play in a system, which includes taking away the ball from young players who aren't good at decision making and giving them off ball duties, benching players who make too much mistakes in a row, etc, which can be good for some players, but Boylen follows this logic to a fault. Zach Lavine is the best primary ball handler and decision maker on the lineup, yet Boylen takes the same type of method on him. He just can't seem to decipher when the win matters or when the time comes for inexperienced players to make mistakes, or try to make good decisions.
