Live recording of Jim’s Q&A at Schuler Books in Okemos, MI as part of the Brief Cases signing tour. There’s one stretch early on where the phone falls forward and records audio of Jim but video of a wooden shelf until I can get over there and stand it back up.

i love jim butcher, i love the dresden files, i love the codex alera. but watching these q&a meetings makes me wanna sit down with him and smoke a joint, hes soooo jittery, i think it would calm him down a good bit lol

WOW! How bizarre! I've been binging on Jim Butcher videos from 2018 all day and this is the most low energy he's been with a crowd and YET... This is by far the most positively receptive crowd he's had! The love him and his humor. In other videos he was more upbeat and charming but the crowds-though positive-didn't laugh as much or as easily at his jokes

This was the last stop of the tour for him, so I can only imagine he was running tired. I know the start got delayed a bit so that he could finish eating something.

This is a great met and greet of his, but man, some of the uber nerds asking crazy right wing questions are thick in this one! lol like the asking what other real life person was a knight of some sort and clearly you could see he never gave any thought about it or cared. lol But he handled even those guys with charm and class!
