when I make my movie, I want this type of music for the sound track, it's very cool.

They should release each live show on mp3, I’d buy it. Nels Clines live is a whole new experience. Their shows must be improvised and like mind communication like very spiritual things.

Nels Cline’s musical awareness in this setting is staggering!

Great stuff, I love Jim's playing. The drummer's putting on a show that's worth the price of admission alone.
@andtothewestamerica7 жыл бұрын
The crazy thing is that Jim plays with these guys (no Nels) every monday at Rockwood and there isn't even a cover. They just pass a hat around. You can look around the room and everyone is grinning like they're all in on a joke. One of the great musical experiences available today.

I would compare this to a boxing match in that they don't dislike each other, but they came together to push each other to be their best. This really is the meeting of two modern Titans in art, music, guitar.
Man, these cats can blow! Everyone in the zone! ...just great!
@byrdz23137 жыл бұрын
I'm used to hearing this with Greg Allman's keys but this performance is absolutely fantastic. The Campilongo touch is unreal. The band's not too shabby either.

The first question in my mind is: Who made who step up??? They're all so clearly on. The second question that pops up in my mind is" WHY THE FUCK DO I NOT KNOW ABOUT THESE GUYS!" And the third thought is Nels is almost as amazing as Prince and Hendrix. Plus a whole lot of other shit...But that can wait.

You know, they ALL do this swaying back and forth thing - it looks like they wanna do heavy metal headbanging stuff, but they know 60-year-old spinal discs don't DO that.
