I agree. That's Howard with everyone. Adding to that, Howard frequently has his facts wrong, making him more laughable.

Same thing Hannity does, the irony is "talk" show means let the guest talk. It's originally stemming from control issues 🤔

Howard is honestly, the best interviewer alive today IMHO. However, a major pet peeve of mine, is that he ALWAYS talks over EVERY guest and starts asking them another question before they can finish answering the current one.

Yep. It was the only SNL episode where every segment was gold. It was Jim in his absolute prime & his sketch skills were still razor sharp since he wasn't that far removed from In Living Color.

I believe he auditioned at the same time as Phil Hartman. Tough choice between those two and they went with Phil. Jim did alright without SNL

I think he auditioned in 1980 when Eddie Murphy and Joe Piscopo were on the show. He auditioned for Jean Doumanian when she was the producer

In Living Color was great but SNL was still the King...show still had Carvey, Hartman, Nealon, Myers, Miller, as well as Rock and Farley.
