He doesn’t even sound crazy, even out of context. He makes perfect sense, he’s very coherent. He’s explaining to people that ego is not real, which is correct. Money isn’t real. Status isn’t real. It’s all part of the ego. It’s all just a bunch of stuff we made up. The only thing that is real is energy. Everything is energy and that’s it. Nothing else matters, really. And that is a great, liberating thing to realize.

Well let me ask you this: how do you know what defines real? If you write off ego as "not real", then why do we see people who seem to have it if it does not exist. Jim Carrey may not "have" ego but what about others? You say "everything is energy" but how do you know if everything isn't mass if the two are interchangeable? How do you prove the blanket statement you just made? Do you know what defines mass or are you just making things up?

@@chamgod007 yes, that's a better way of putting it actually. It's least it's how I interpret it. I assume that the invisibility is about pretending to be someone else to please others, thereby your actual self becomes "invisible". It's just a way of looking at it. Not that I disagree but the whole pretend game is a spectrum thing to me, not black and white clear cut stuff. Especially because I think he's on some level pretending right there on camera and people play many roles all of the time which only becomes a problem when you're just done with that, especially when it is about pleasing others. On the other hand, he's been through quite a bit in life so honestly it might be HIS way of coping with that...which makes the whole thing slightly ironic. But if he really wanted to please others he would just go nutty as usual. Maybe he's about other things now since he got older yet people expect him to play the role of hyperactive Carrey which he was 20 years ago. You can go spiritual with that specifically but it happens to everyone. Either way he's not the same person as he once was mentally.

@@theogofguitar I know it's selfish of me to say "I hope not", but despite the unfortunate reality in that most of the characters he plays are a manifestation of personalities that don't actually represent who Jim Carrey really is or aims to be; he brings a unique spark to every movie that he partakes on screen with in a way that, yes, more-less portrays his legendary goofy antics, sometimes, in a satirically brilliant manner, but somehow in a genuine way that captivates me to still take the grievous or meaningful parts of each film seriously. I find it impossible to name anyone else who can deliver this collaboration of goofy like comedic gold as well as heartfelt dramatic scenes with such prowess. I know this is for music not acting, but I notice similarities in how they're run, so I definitely agree with Eminem when he calls out the Grammys for more-less being selective about the nominees than actually properly critiquing every artist/genre uniquely through the quality of their work instead of the prominence of their name.

@@6Sparx9 well i cant speak for jim carrey perfectly but from what i can tell he realized what i had realized on LSD i GREW from this EXPERIENCE and re emerged in the world with a fresh VIEW but unlike me Jim had a platform to sound off his experience and new discovered SELF he grew up right in the media’s EYES and he cant help it they chase him with cameras and questions The red carpet, interviews, social media platforms. See when you experience LSD you lose your EGO it brings you down to REALITY you realize we are all in the same boat looking for the same island so to speak We are all LOST children growing up in a world run by other lost people heading NOWHERE fast and you find out what really matters you can see through the bullshit that plagues everyday life and the absurdity of it all the circus that is fame, fortune, flashy houses and shiny cars and who’s doing better than who in life Comparing and competing for a HOLLOW sense of SUCCESS in life its all nothing and meaningless in the shadow of LOVE and kindness and the progression of manKIND you will certainly realize how small you are in this UNIVERSE and how short of a life we really have and our purpose of EXISTENCE all leads to your need for LOVE. We all need LOVE and that is all besides food and water obviously Everything you have ever done in your life was for some sort of big or small CONNECTION or approval of someone because you want LOVE And when you start being HONEST with yourself you FREE yourself its an act of self LOVE but when you tell an interviewer that this interview means nothing to you, they will not understand or wont want to entertain that line of thinking people have a negative reaction or aversion to all of this undeniable TRUTH. Naturally because it goes against what the world and movies and music has told us to think Just look at the masses writing off Jim as just crazy, instead of thinking logically and understanding why someone would have this behavior its easier to call names its too hard to THINK from another PERSPECTIVE (Cynically speaking) its just the type of reaction you would expect from the inexperienced person that laughs in the face of love and UNDERSTANDING They say “thats crazy” and jump right back in line to things that don’t matter or help you grow as a person People dont want to CHANGE and GROW they want to chase fame and fortune as the answer to happiness something Jim is trying to tell you Just listen to the other “crazy” people who try to wake the masses Trey Parker and Matt stone writers of South Park have made a whole career of making fun of this absurd world we live in they have been known to take LSD as well sometimes their episodes are not even a joke but a reflection of society itself Or George Carlin who is a stand up comedian really isn’t telling jokes is he? He is actually telling the truth and people are laughing because laughter after all is learning. And in the music the Beatles are very famous for LSD 60’s culture, with songs like “All You Need Is LOVE” and “LET IT BE” and “NOWHERE MAN” Or the lyrics to strawberry fields “living is easy with EYES CLOSED, MISUNDERSTANDING ALL YOU SEE” or “NOTHING IS REAL, but NOTHING to get hung about, strawberry fields (youth) forever” Life is filled with the truth just like its filled with lies Im glad that people choose curiosity instead of writing off things thats a sign of intellect, deep down you know something is funny about this world, if you pay attention the signs are everywhere, so pay attention Keep learning and growing, and remember to LOVE its the only purpose and the only real path towards happiness and spread kindness to make this world a better place nothing else will save the world but me and you following Love and understanding.

Yeah this is my main critique of Jim is that for all his self awareness he is only able to study and transcend himself because he has no need to worry about his survival. The painting video will always stand out to me as a prime example of his duality. He was being very candid about art and had very profound things to say. Just as he was really enthralling me, he goes on about how people should just drop everything and do art for periods of time. It took me out of any profundity and made me realize what he had discovered was bought. He has an elegant studio, high quality materials, and free time to dive into a passion. I have passions that I can engage with, but on a very limited scale thus prolonging, if not completely preventing, me from reaching any satisfying potential. I feel that’s a lot of the working classes struggle.

The quality of your videos is exceptionally noteworthy, and their essence is undeniably pure. They bear an uncanny resemblance to the message conveyed by Jim Carrey. It's admirable how Carrey has transcended his inherent nature to altruistically dedicate himself towards alleviating potential afflictions in others. As a collective, we ought to foster hope and continually strive for the betterment of our world. It is an inherent possibility for each one of us to tap into our deepest potential, allowing us to reach the most exceptional aspects of our beings. We could enhance this pursuit by consciously limiting discussions that obscure cognitive clarity and perpetuate negativity. This approach would enable us to foster a more positive environment, propelling us towards the realization of our individual and shared objectives.

Jim is a great and deep philosopher who got to understand the meaning of life and has a hard time explaining it to the rest of us :) I love this guy.
@sliicck7098
@sliicck7098 2 жыл бұрын
it is strictly the timing of jim’s life. his childhood never allowed him to have an identity and figure out who jim carrey is. he then acts out different characters and they each make up parts of him forming and artificial identity for him to use while still not knowing who HE is. he grows as a person and matures and when he reaches a point where he is the only one that mature without a sole identity holding him back. he is exposed to the “real world” while not having an identity and not being restricted to who he is. this causes him to elevate his knowledge to a level no others could achieve. he realizes what you have without an identity which is just energy dancing around in a universe. he realizes that we don’t matter. he can see the different between the energy and identity in other people. he can be a whistleblower because he has no fear because he knows how much he has when they take “everything”. he is realizing more and more as he explores this new realm of being and his intellectual capability is sky-high. it almost leads me to believe that he has the right knowledge and although he is aware of everything he says and does and how it is not the best or most efficient way of getting his knowledge to others he physically cannot describe it correctly to others. he knows and he can try to describe it to others but he will never achieve the ability to fully articulate it to others and he will not be able to achieve his dream of letting everyone know.

There's no meaning of life, that's the point. You strive to be an actor and think when you become one that's when you'll be happy, when you have this and that, when this or that, but never now. I don't think he has a hard time explaining it, I think you have a hard time understanding it because you're not at that point in life where you've put these pieces together, but maybe you will be.
@ararune3734

@cam cam yeah Well not exactly what I would argue; I would argue nothing has inherent universal meaning, but you give your life a meaning, it's the small distractions that you fill your life with. And sure, love could be one of those distractions, so could music and other things. Although I do not believe in the romantic idea of love. Meaning and love are both stories we tell ourselves.
@ararune3734
@ararune3734 2 жыл бұрын
@cam cam yeah Like I said, I don't believe anything is "true meaning". That's what I meant by there is no inherent universal meaning, what could be a meaning of life to you is not a meaning of life to me. Notice how I say "a meaning" and not "the meaning". What you call true love is still a story, the underlying condition is chemical in nature, primitive, not spiritual. What I would call true love is storge, love of family, love of your child. Everything else is conditional. You call them actual love and true love, that's very vague and subjective.

A clown talks in a somber tone and everyone suddenly thinks he's a person of depth and intelligence. Uh, no. He's a broken man. That's what grief looks like to the niëve. You're lucky, and I hope you never feel pain like that, but don't take what he says at face value or as some deep spiritual truth. Grief can make you question things you haven't before, and he's still figuring things out. Yes, each person should examine what they believe--but not by idolizing someone else's grief, because experiencing pain is not what makes a person unique. Developing specific habits, such as good sense, fairness, kindness, reason, generousity, self-discipline, and humility is, however, a great start and an ambitious pursuit.

@MoonFirefly13
@MoonFirefly13 Жыл бұрын
@@realykid It's many people's spiritual belief, including mine, that it's not your first time here on earth. We all have an akashic record of our past lifetimes on this earth. We are brought here to learn lessons and to share love and compassion. The lessons are different for every soul. The ego is from this lifetime and often formed during childhood. So if you have childhood trauma, your ego will tell you lies to keep you safe, because ego helped you cope when you were young. The ego is rooted in fear and pain. Many people have to consciously override and push pash ego to see true inner spiritual growth, which is hard to do, but not impossible. It takes going inward, connecting with your higher self. The higher self connects with spirit. (God) When you consciously connect to your highself on a regular basis, like through meditation, you'll begin to see that we are all connected. We all share Earth and similar stories. If we chose to love, we can really start to heal ourselves and that gets shared outward, like a ripple, and spreads. We can't take any thing with us when we leave, (physical death) but our lessons and love. The love you share with others and the love you've given yourself, transcends time. (timeless) Love spreads and has a positive cause and effect. Love can change peoples lives, break generational wounds, including your own and has the power to heal, not only in this lifetime, but for generations to come.
