But Mr Caviezel and his story of the background to the car , but in his voice you hear his humility and him honouring the loss of the soldiers & sailors. My father served in Aden in the 60' he has never spoken of his service but we have a picture of him with his Bren gun protecting the ship and the other crew members. Unfortunately we have lost touch due to the loss of my mother, sometimes some bridges can't be rebuilt. I would like to wish you both the best and for your support to the American armed Services.

@JackTASM23 жыл бұрын
@@jvo8068 you’re correct that he was initially going to play Cyclops in the original X-Men films, but he dropped out due to a scheduling conflict with another film he was starring in at the time X-Men was in production. I believe that he was considered for the Batman role before Ben Affleck was cast in the DCEU due to his working relationship with Johnathan Nolan on Person of Interest. As we know in this video, he said that Carroll Shelby handpicked him to portray Ken Miles when Ford v Ferrari was in early development, before Christian Bale was ultimately cast. If Jim was cast as either Batman or Ken Miles, or both, I truly believe that he would’ve had arguably the biggest career resurgence since Robert Downey Jr. when he was cast as Iron Man. Ironically enough, it was Downey who advocated for Hollywood to forgive Mel Gibson, and I would be surprised if Mel lets RDJ make a small cameo in the upcoming Passion of the Christ sequel since they’re good friends with each other.

I have watched just about all Jay Leno's Garage episodes, butbthis one was super special. Thanks Jay & Jim for sharing this one with us. I am not even American, I live way down south and east in South Africa, but even I appreciate the Sacrifice and Dedication of the US armed forces in keeping the world free. And, man, what a ride.

Hate to break it to you but he is the old person... hes almost 70. No matter how big a car guy you are your reflexes start slowing down and a 850hp car takes some concentration lol

Jim Caviezel along with Mel Gibson are two of the bravest souls in Hollywood, their work seems remarkable and game changing to the world. Jay Thank You for sharing this video, now I know that when Jesus gets back to the world He could very well be driving a Ford. Long life to Henrry Ford. Thumbs way up.

Why someone would dislike a video like this is beyond me. What a great tribute to those brave soldiers.

I like being completely agnostic when it comes to automobiles. I love all types of American cars, European cars , Japanese cars, etc. I honestly don’t know how you can hate a great car like this.

Charlie M. You asked the question why people hate on this car, and I gave one answer 🤷♂️

Charlie M. You’re right, you didn’t specifically ask. But said you honestly didn’t know. So I offered a reason. There, I hope you now know.

Jom Caviezel was so monotone, but he busted out that flawless Walken impression like it was nothing. And his car was an absolutely stunning monument to our countries bravest. Favorite episode so far
