Candy Bruney Absolutely. I live right where it hit, but just before it hit, it moved a little bit away from shore. That little bit saved us from catastrophic damage. We had lots of debris from winds and no power, but no flooding. Just a half hour away, there was road corrosion and A1A was torn up. St.Augustine had serious flooding.
