I wish All Petite Wrestling would listen to this. Watching Stone Cole comeback after 19 years, basically do a brawl: kick, punch, 2 suplexes, & 2 stunners. The crowd was BANANAS!!! 48 super licks, 26 false finishes, 600 flips/dives, & crowd barely pops. It is dumb.

I want to start a promotion that focuses on the sport with fan voted performance bonuses to the wrestlers and a legit ranking hierarchy and weight classes with the open weight class as the flagship title with guys getting bonuses with those titles. Let guys work with writers and producers they work well with to build storylines and have pitch meetings similar to how SNL does their business but cutting out 90% of the cheesy skits.

It's partially his own fault tbf. He's often indicated he's perfectly happy to just do whatever and simply collect WWE money and go off surfing on American beaches in his spare time. Sure it doesn't excuse most of his booking but perhaps someone a bit younger and hungrier might have pushed back on his booking and gotten things changed or gotten frustrated and left the WWE by now.

The newer talent complacency is the biggest problem! They will get paid regardless of weather they get over or not! I've been saying, take that guaranteed money away and see who takes that brass ring. I guarantee that fixes this within a year. I bet Jim and Steve would agree.
@Danlows1
@Danlows1 9 ай бұрын
I’d say don’t take the guarantees away completely, but level them so they get a basic no frills life, no bonuses, if they don’t draw. But to make the pay scale fairer, if the opening match does its job properly to warm up the crowd, give them a little extra, cos every spot on the card has its purpose, even if it’s to cool off the crowd after a hot angle match before putting on the main event.

ive ALWAYS wondered, why is it that Mexico's wrestling is always left out of the "great indy wrestling" conversation. they literally still keep it old school like in the territory days in the sense that they try to get heat as a heel from the crowd, they wrestle as a. "shoot" also to make it look real. hell they've given us EDDIE GUERRERO,REY MYSTERIO, LITA TRAINED OVER AT MEXICO, ALBERTO DEL RIO, KALISTO, ANDRADE CIEN ALMAS, to name a few. i just dont get it. smh

the rating back to tv14 would change everything.... its the only way to make a fight seem REAL.... and Bret vs Austin didn't need anything but some foul language and a little blood with nothing truly of bad taste to make you want to see who is the "BEST" because wins DID matter.
@KOHoxton
@KOHoxton 6 жыл бұрын
You can be real without being TV14, all that allowed was those shit pillow fights and "Asses/Goddamn's" Being dropped with weird rape angles, Lesnar/Reigns is showing they can use firm language and punk proved that you can pop off on the mic and make a rivalry good with or without TV14, Everyone can do it if they try or if they got rid of these fucking writers that can't write an even half-assed story or promo they would be a lot better off, the reason they're so up-in-arms about blood is due to the sponsors. i really don't think something like snickers will give a shit if a guy bleeds during a match, people bleed during MMA fights but they still get sponsors, if they'd grow a fucking set and do what they do and quit worrying about the opinion of everyone else they'd draw more attention and ratings, the downside of becoming a fucking publicly traded company. you can do stock frauds all day to make dough, but your fanbase is gonna suffer in the long run from this autistic shit they continue to pull.

Anybody that thinks that JC is out of touch, listen to this. Make me believe. Build up excitement. They’re called high spots because they are highlights,, not the whole show. If every movéis a high spot, nothing matters. Austin couldn’t do the huge moves, but nobody told a better story.

I think austin/cena would draw more then punk or lesnar. Why? Because you have the face of the attitude era vs the face of the PG era. You'd have the attitude era fans and the PG era fans argueing on twitter, FB, etc. I get chills just thinking about that match/buildup. It would be the ultimate culture clash.

Isn't it strange. You have arguably the most popular pro wrestler of all time talking for an hour about how crappy the business is....are the fans the only ones listening to this? WTH. Where are the people in the business. They should hear this and start to make changes.
@prposalx380
@prposalx380 4 жыл бұрын
Well, the problem is they do hear people with Steves status, also cornys status as a promoter and basically everything else in wrestling apart from an in the ring talent, they hear everything but they don't care and are very stuck in their ways, "they" meaning vince.
@prposalx380
@prposalx380 4 жыл бұрын
So it's not like they don't hear everyone being critical of them, they are too big for their own good. I believe vince and company think they truly are taking the right steps. The thing is us older fans are being basically pushed away and new fans are being realed in. Many hardcore fans left I've been here for awhile, I don't keep up with the current day product, I still focus on all the old stuff even if I know most of it already.

Some of the best use of body language and facial expressions EVER. Everyone just keeps saying all Omega/Okada did was spam finishers even though Omega didn't even land his finisher in the first match, Anytime Okada lands his it usually signals the end of the match unless hes facing a top guy, like a Tanahasi, Naito, Omega, Shibata. Okada and Omega don't just spam finishers like Cena does to make a good match, and this is coming from a fucking casual NJPW Fan that only watches big shows/matches and i know this, Do some research and don't just spout dopey shit, lads.

No psychologically you sacrifice a heel run in to get the DQ, thus Heel get's a rub and Face gets heat on another heel. Next week Face gets a win, maybe interference and face beats off the Heels. Next week, Heel cuts a promo, get's assaulted by face or beats heel in ring. Whichever keeps a smolder. Like Corney said, options.

HE IS THE MOST CONSISTANT HIGH END NIGHT IN AND NIGHT OUT PERFORMER IN THE ENTIRE WORLD , NO MATTER HOW HARD THEY TRY 2 PUSH BROCK AND ROMAN DOWN OUR THROATS ( BECAUSE JUST LIKE SINCE THE 80'S VINCE HAS A INFATUATION WITH BIG MUSCLE BOUND MEN WEATHER THEY CAN WRESTLE OR NOT , JUST LIKE THE TRIPLE THREAT MATCH THE 3 HAD A FEW SUMMER SLAMS BACK , EVEN IN DEFEAT SETH FREAKIN ROLLINS BY FAR WAS THE BEST IN THAT MATCH BY FAR , JUS LIKE ETHIER HIM , A.J., CODY OR DANIEL BRYAN ARE REALLY THE ONLY PRO WRESTLERS WHO HAVE ANY KIND OF CLAIMS AS THE BEST IN THE WORLD ( PUNK HAS BEEN AWAY FOR 2 LONG 2 HAVE ANY RIGHT TO SAY HE IS). NONE OF THOSE MEN ARE BIG MUSCLE BOUND VINCE FANTASY WRESTLERS ETHIER. SETH DEF NEEDS TO THANK TRIPLE H FOR ANY KIND OF PUSH HE GETS , BECAUSE VINCE WOULD PROLLY HAVE HIM BE A SINGLES VERSON OF THE REVIVAL OR CHASING DRAKE MAVERICK AND R TRUTH FOR THE NEW VERSION OF THE HARDCORE TITLE
