Okay I have noticed on Instagram lately that there is a problem going around shipping douxie with characters that aren’t the same age as him. This edit was never supposed to be a ship betweeen jim and douxie, but instead as two friends showcasing their struggles. I have nothing against how people identify themselves as, and I will support people no matter what,but please don’t take this friendship the wrong way, as it is not a romantic friendship.

Ships aren't about how compatible two characters are, nor weather or not they will ever be a couple in canon. Ships are meant to just be fun. Having said that however, I do agree that Douxie is way older than the other characters, despite being a young adult mentally and physically. He is a wizard, which means he ages at a very different rate than other humans. By the time his friends grow into their thirties Douxie will still be a young adult. It's bad to ship him with any of the other characters.
