I love how here he's respecting the NDA he signed, but in his special he tells this story and just goes "I've been telling people and nothing bad's happened so fuck it, it's Mariah Carey!"

This story sounds so different from that one he told in his Netflix Special. Just the little details which I'm sure were added for comedic effect, but still the bulk of the same story. Example; a big part of the routine was when James Packer didn't know who he was at first and started scolding his Mariah saying "Why did you think I would enjoy this?" at the same volume Jim was talking to make sure he heard him, but in this interview he says "Nah just do the gun bit" which sounds a bit more friendly but less funny of course. What I like about Jim's comedy isn't so much that he tells stories, it's that his stories generally are believable. I don't fact check all of Jim's stories like some obsessed dickhead, but I just like what I hear to be believable. What makes a story great is when you can genuinely believe it happened.
