Both men, but particularly Jesse had more talent in one hand than anyone popular in music today.

Their vocal harmonies swirl above and beyond any bluegrass ever, but their instrumental foundation makes it all work even better.

@bth2458 I hope we can still here that old time bluegrass music. I hope they don't try changing it like they did country music.

First saw them on their old TV show in late 60's. Then 1st live show in '70 at a mobile home outlet in Houston on a flat bed trailer with Vic Jordan on banjo. Geez I wish I would have recorded that.

Banjo/ Tim Ellis from Toledo and a wonderful"kid" who I sometimes picked with at the Old Fashioned Bar on the East Side of town in 1975. Ted Smith would be proud! Nice job!

He was also one heck of a fiddle player. Saw him playing twin fiddles with Jon Glick along with Walter Hensley on Banjo. They about burned the place down.
