We saw this last week, and loved it. Emily, George, Editor Webb, and Mrs. Gibbs are particularly wonderful. Our Town is an enduring joy.

Katie still looks like she could play Emily, the teenager instead of the mom lol. They all look wonderful and this play envisioned through the eyes of a racially diverse cast brings a new vision of Our Town while at the same time revealing what was always American life. All of the indigenous people and the people of color have always been here, a huge part of daily life in every town in reality, but not portrayed that way through the arts and education. This is finally a more realistic version of our towns.
