I used to see this clever show on visits to Toronto where I had a dear friend who knew the two guys on this (he was a sportscaster). Announcer Dave Devall did the weather on Toronto's CFTO for 40-plus years!

Maybe it's just my "stupid" American side talking, but to me, calling the letter "z" "zed" just sounds wrong. "Zed" sounds to me like a casual nickname for your pal Zedekiah.
