I absolutely LOVE this song... this is something that music has lost somewhere a long the way- the STORIES. Great cover. I love anything Gentlemen Jim ever recorded, the world lost out on a lot of beautiful music on July 31st of 1964 when Mr. Reeves plane fell from the sky. He was so smooth, he would record his vocals with his mouth pressed right up against the microphone, and basically whispered... the mic would so beautifully pick up all of those baritone tones in his voice- he was just so good. I wish he had not been taken from us so young.

Hi John, I agree. It is a great song and I have loved it for years. You are so right about Jim Reeves. He was tremendous and after almost 60 years is still very popular selling records around the world. I have enjoyed covering a number his songs and plan to do more. Thanks for your compliment!
