Thanks as always, Pat. This is yet another confirmation that 14.1 is the Championship Game.

What happens if the break ball is left where the 14 balls need to be placed?

I can’t believe that Hopkins could sink any ball. Terrible fundamentals but he just keeps making them

Man I can’t believe it was 50 years or more ago that Jim and I used to go to the Jersey pool rooms and hustle shooters. Great times . Great person and good fun. Yea I’m 78 and we both grew up and hung out in Scranton, Pa. 😊

Love watching this classic style. Hopkins nearly consistent stun game is fascinating to watch.

When I was 17 years old, I was the best pool player in Stroudsburg Pennsylvania. I ran 62 balls in a row once. I went to Scranton in the Lackawana pool room and played Jim Rempe. He was 18 and I was 17. I don’t know if I ever beat him, but I was good enough to play him.

Allen Hopkins' stroke just cured my hiccups.

They must be playing on a shot clock. I don't remember ever seeing Rempe get around the table that fast!

People thought I was going to be a professional pool player, but I went to medical school instead and became a well-known doctor in Miami

What is with that Allen Hopkins stroke, he has no backswing, it's maybe 2 inches, it's a poke stroke, almost no backswing, and the strangest thing I have seen in my 39 years of playing high level pool. I currently play in the ACS pool league in the Masters division. I have 8 MVP awards and 2 city championships in the last 8 years of play since 2016.

was thinking this also, never seen a high level player stroke the cue like that. going to try it when i hit balls later :)
@steves22416 ай бұрын
@@boxlaxtv5891 Rodney Morris has a stroke almost the same, with very little backswing, but still not like the Hopkins poke stroke, it is clearly something only he does.
