I love his amazing repertoire of music. I got to meet him at the Songwriters music festival in North Carolina this past September. He's just a lovely man. We walked together to his car so he could get a sharpie to sign my CD. And I got to see some of his artwork and I ended up with a signed piece that he did. Get his book Incidental Contact. It's really an amazing read.

Jim, I love KEXP, I watched Built to Spills full set through them. And LOVED it. I would like to hear your interpreatation of "Static on the Radio" yes. I am a douche who first heard it on "el camino" and fell in love. My fellow brethoran hear it and think Jesse and Jane!!! do not hold it against me. I wanna hear you and Aimee's interpretation. I hear it and think about it being a ghostly interpreation of existing things in our world, ghosts, and God. As well as our human ignorance to cues we've had layed out. I follow NO religion please note. You Have spoken to me on a strange sub middle level. AND really made me think? I am not gonna base Shit on what you tell me. I just want to pick your brain. Maybe I could bait you here? Make me shit my pants today??? Whatvis that song truly about? OR Is it about something I want to hear
